“Enjoyable boat trip”
Reviewed 14 July 2014

We did the shortest boat trip visiting 3 Calanques. The boat company supplied really good tour notes and our skipper gave additional information. It was an interesting and most enjoyable trip.

“Breathtaking”
Reviewed 12 July 2014 via mobile

First: do the hike, yes the terrain can be a bit difficult but the views cannot be compared to any other method
Second: go all the way to the end "calanques d'en Vau" it is the toughest to get to but you will be able to enjoy a pebble beach with mostly locals, and it's not crowded. You will also get the most breathtaking views going all the way to end. Here you will be able to cliff dive if you're interested! Quite an experience but I must warn you the water in unbearably cold! This hike was by far the highlight of my trip and I cannot wait to return next summer!

“Beautiful”
Reviewed 12 July 2014

Really good, but windy conditions spoil the colours in the water a bit. Do the 90 minute boat trip, followed by the hike to at least the first 2, just for a different perspective. Also if you go the 2nd, you may find the beach almost deserted as everyone goes to the beach at the 3rd Calanques.

“Do the Hike not the Boat tour”
Reviewed 11 July 2014

Boat cruises are too expensive and dont give you the breathtaking vistas the hiking trail does. Make the extra effort and walk it...

“L'Eden Boat”
Reviewed 10 July 2014

Amazing highlight of my trip in Provence!!!! I went on a tour of the Calanques before on a huge boat with 200 people (round trip from Marseille). This was so much better! There were only 2 of us, so it would have been way too expensive to hire a private boat for us. It only cost 65 euros a person for a four hour trip. What a deal! We stopped and swam several times. I speak French so I didn't have any problems with communication. I'm not sure if they speak English. I called a day ahead to see if they had any space left and they were totally booked. She called me back a couple of hours later to say they had a cancelation! So glad it worked out. I would recommend making reservations in advance and bring enough cash to pay because there is not an office at the port to pay with a credit card. AWESOMENESS!!!!!!
