The restaurant is a combination of indoor and pavement seating, and we chose the latter. The menu, while following the Provence model, is well executed and flavoursome. Service was fairly good, though our corner table was occasionally overlooked. Certainly justifies a place in the top 5 in Le Lavendou.

It is rare for me to write a review online, but we just finished having the most wonderful meal at Auberge Provencale thanks to reading reviews on Trip Advisor. There were nine of us including three children, and the staff could not have been more accommodating, nor the food any better. Some of us chose the fixed price 26 euro menu (3 course),, 13 euro for the children, and some had the 33 euro menu. Our waiters were exceptionally patient and helpful in explaining the menu. I chose the duck confit, crete brûlée and fish starter. They were outstanding. This is a delightful restaurant that is quaint and charming. We had been looking for an authentic restaurant that wasn't a tourist trap. We are happy we found this gem. A special thanks to the two waiters who made the night perfect. Merci.

Fresh unique favors. Pea soup with mint was very refreshing. Confit of duck complex - glacee of almonds with raspberry sauce wonderful play of flavors. Overall a wonderful adventure in food!

Friday night off season, a quiet start but good atmosphere - friendly staff, table by the fireplace. Simple menu with 3 choices for 26 euros. Each dish freshly prepared with passion. Excellent evening and exceptional value for the location

Much better than the majority of boil-in-the-bag joints in town. Service is spot on and friendly. We visit the area 4 to 5 times a year and will go there for that special meal
