Had an excellent dinner here. Quaint little resturant (also part of a hotel) off the main drag of Le Lavandou. Good food, service and wine

Fantastic – the best meal we had on our holiday and very good value. Friendly place, obviously popular; we arrived fairly early but all the tables outside were taken or already reserved. However, inside there was a good atmosphere and the place was more or less full within 30 mins. We shared a starter which was a chèvre mousse with tomato confit; for the main course I had mullet and my husband had confit of lamb; all excellent, perfectly cooked and extremely reasonably priced, with very good service. Very highly recommended.

Another year, and a re-visit. This time we dined inside. While the outside pavement area is a little cramped, the inside is a lofty and spacious room containing tables laid with proper linen. The €30 menu has a good set of choices, and our meal was attractive and tasty. Service continues to be excellent. It rightly maintains its position near the top of the rankings.

We ate here on a Tuesday evening in May. There were a few other diners, but the atmosphere was completely lacking. The food was very good for the price, but the service was far too quick! It would certainly warrant a higher score for food alone. The nougat glace was divine!

We decide to visit Auberge Provencale as we try to book room there, and someone just nick the last one during my confirmation... unlucky we decide for different sleeping option, but as we stay not far away we choose it for a dinner. Great choice... menu is only in french language, but waiter was VERY polite, VERY kind... great job!! His English was far from perfection but level of servis 5 stars... we also explain different between seabass and seabream... They serve BREAM in menu for 36 pounds. Me and my fiance took it for main, just after great foie gras (starter). We've been served even quicker as we expected, but restaurant was pretty busy. Fish was perfect done and served, desserts brilliant, as nice house organic wine... Very enjoyable night and great food!
