Fortunately, the owner has provided us with the best directions to get to the hotel so we avoided the heavy traffic in St Maxime on our way.
The hotel location is great, walking distance to the best St Tropez beaches: studio 55 / cap 21.
I really liked the room: very clean and beautiful. The lobby is with great home atmosphere.
Breakfast is served on the sunny terrace whenever you wake up.
Friendly staff and super-helpful and nice new owner. This is the first hotel, which I will definitely return to.

Wonderful little hotel close to all the beaches (incl Club 55/Cap 21/Nikki Beach) and the main hub of activity in St Tropez. The hotel is immaculately cleaned and maintained. The new owner is very nice and welcoming and willing to go the extra step with everything from arranging beaches/restaurants/taxis to catering to special requests. The hotel itself is rather small and cozy. You get a feeling like you're staying at your own villa with a wonderul pool and a breathtaking view of the bay. Would definitely come back!

Myself and my wife returned to Pavillon de Pampelonne last week for 3 days after a few years. We found it the same paradise as it always was with a beautiful pool area and terrace and comfortable and nicely furnished rooms. The new owners are friendly and very welcoming and all the staff are so helpful. the breakfast in the garden is unmissable and the whole place feels so calm and welcoming that i would recommend to anyone. The location is perfect with easy access down the road to Club 55 and the beach bars and also easy to get into St tropez.
I simply cannot wait to go back !

We stayed 5 nights and had a great time. Location is great. 12 min walk to beach which was fine and saved the hassle of parking and traffic. Pool area beautiful and the staff could not be more helpful. Sure, it's run as a house so it takes you a day or so to get into the swing of it. But once you have and feel comfortable it's much better than a hotel. It's like having a villa - but with staff. Helpful staff! We got great restaurant recommendations. They did our booking for us. We travelled with 2 children ages 9 and 11. They thought it was great and we were never made to feel as if they weren't welcome. In fact Gregory got some flippers out for them to use in the pool. They also were able to use a x box downstairs - nothing was off limits. Gregory was very popular! The rooms are not out of this world- we had the Baraques suite , but they are perfectly good. Worth the money? This is St Tropez , prime St Tropez - it's not going to be a bargain and the £600 for your room includes the use of a beautiful villa and grounds. So overall was good value. I'd recommend it. Btw the owner doesn't live there anymore - so you' don't actually feel like you are staying in someone's home.

This is such a beautiful place. It's about 5km from the city center of Saint Tropez so if you are looking for some quiet this is the place. They have a beautiful pool, lovely gardens, and cozy rooms. The staff is super nice and accommodating, ask for Gregory too. I loved the morning breakfast, and their private pool.

I picked this place because of the reviews and it didn't disappoint!

The location of PdP is good. It is not far from the beach though we drove to avoid the long walk home uphill. The gardens at PdP are magnificent. Lush and beautiful. The pool area is also very nice. We spent a lot of time around the pool as the water was nice and warm for our children and the surrounding greenery and aspect back to the conservatory make it a lovely place to while away the day.

Breakfasts on the terrace were lovely. The hosts, being British make an excellent pot of tea! We also liked the honesty bar in the conservatory for an afternoon drink by the pool.

The size of our room (Baraques) was good for a family although the layout was strange - the bathroom and toilet were accessed through the children's bedroom so we risked waking them when retiring later at night. The decor of our room was comfortable - that's the nicest thing I can say. It truly felt as though our room was decorated with a mish mash of what was leftover. Glimpses of the other rooms upstairs further illustrated this. The rooms and communal areas of the main house were very nice and decorated in a manner reflecting the surrounds and the beachside location. I felt that our room was not worth 600 Euro a night. It was clean but not inviting or charming.

We have two sons aged 2 and 4. They like to run, explore and create games for themselves. I have to say that I felt they were not really welcome at PdP. Whilst the hosts were amiable, they did not go out of their way to accommodate the young children. I have read other Trip Advisor reviews whereby families travelling with children have felt very welcome. Prior to our arrival I had requested a cot in our room. It was not there when we checked in. I had to ask for it two more times before it was set up. The linen for the cot was not provided until past our son’s bedtime so I had to make do with a sheet from the bed. Also when we requested an early dinner of pasta for our children it was forgotten. The meal was provided but much later when our children were tired and beyond eating. Also breakfast was not available until 8.30am which is late in the lives of young children - especially children adapting to the time zone from the other side of the world. One positive was the excellent babysitter organized by the hosts. She was lovely and capable with our youngest son.

The hosts of PdP were available to answer questions and make recommendations for restaurants and excursions. The hosts live on the property and engage well with the guests whose requests and needs were probably simpler than ours. Overall we felt a little intimidated, like we were breaking the rules and not as welcome as we would have been had we been British over 50's.

In all I don't recommend PdP to families travelling with little children. The place seems more suited and is frequented by older couples from the UK. If you meet these criteria then you will surely have a lovely stay at PdP. We will look elsewhere when we next visit St Tropez.
