“Our Camargue HQ”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 June 2014

We arrived late, very much after hours, however a phone call made any potential problems fade. Beakfast the next morning was welcome, though later I was shocked by the price. For the rest of our stay we walked into town, an easy walk, for espresso and whatever for much much less. The bed was very comfortable. It would have been nice to block out more light for better sleep. Personally, I had trouble with the lock: it would not lock then it would be locked but the key would be stuck. Then whimsically it would be locked and key could come out. All that aside it's a very pretty place; the room was clean; all the staff friendly and helpful. Our room, and I guess all the rooms, have a little outdoor patio with a table and chairs. This was a lovely addition.

A lovely small single story 19 room hotel which had a very calm and friendly atmosphere located 7-10 minutes walk from shops restaurants and the beach. The rooms were immaculate and beautifully decorated. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful and spoke a number of languages. The heated swimming pool and Jacuzzi were cleaned daily and a joy to use. We would highly recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: Best rooms were the ones overlooking the garden.

Again, I brought my tour group here for 3 nights and was not disappointed. My group of 6 was very happy with their rooms. We all had double rooms, all had terraces and the property is surrounded by greenery. Very nice bathrooms. Beautiful pool and hot tub. The breakfast is very good with a variety to satisfy every taste. Some rooms are smaller or bigger than others which is to be expected unless you are at a chain hotel. I always try to support family businesses and not stay at chains.
The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. Although you can hear street noise at times, it is not that bad and really depends on the time of year. I always travel with earplugs anyway so it takes care of that occasional problem.
I do love that you are a 10min. easy walk to town. I have no reservations recommending this hotel for travelers.

Room Tip: Depending on your length of stay, look at the rooms that have a little salon with a table. It will j...

We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights and in general we are happy with our stay.
The common areas are nice, the staff fairly helpful and it is close to town.
We rented bikes from the hotel one day and we were well surprised by the quality of the bikes but badly surprised by the price 13 euros for half a day isn't cheap.
Breakfast is also quite expensive. You do have a nice selection but some of it could be fresher.
We had a Club Room which had its own little terrace which was lovely. The room however was quite small for the price, the main road can be noisy at night and the light sensor in the toilet is just really annoying. Nice bathroom and big wardrobe.
It's in general a good place to stay and we would possibly go back eventhough it has some faults.

This is an oasis in Saintes Marie de le mer with physical space that is visually calming with rooms clustered in such a way to ensure privacy. Brit greeted us with warmth but it was her goal to make sure we got what we wanted that was most impressive. Ali brought us a tray for breakfast on the terrace that was groaning from the assortment of pastries, meats, cheeses and the best coffee ever. Brit and Ali, both multi-lingual, are real professionals in customer service. Lourdes and Madeline were exceptional house staff and ensured we were comfortable. Great hotel with nice linens, king size bed and a terrific heated swimming pool. The location means that you are away from the hustle of Saintes Marie but close to walk into town and to the Coargue, which is a once-in-a-lifetime experience(bring bug spray). We had a hard time leaving.

Room Tip: The smallest rooms are very comfortable, especially for the price. The suites are really spectacular...

The architecture is very well done, few rooms, all ground floor; very friendly and helpful staff; free WLAN and free parking. However, the premises are to too narrow, barking dogs next door; the dumpsite of the city just across the street; walking to the city centre and beach - though not far away - on the main road no pleasure.

We stayed in Le Mas de Cocagne for 6 nights with our kids. Everything was great. The hotel is cozy, neat and the staff is very friendly. Breakfast until 10.30h near to the pool. The Mas is about a 10 minutes walk from Saintes Maries de la Mer. The pool is heated, so we could even swim when it was cloudy and cool.
In the hotel you can even rent bikes, what is very comfortable.
We spent a wonderful time and will come back.
