Recently I stayed on two occasions at this charming hotel. Even though it is basic, the charm of each of the staff, including the owners, the wait staff, and the cleaning people, made this a special experience. Located a few-minute walk from the center of town, it provides all that one needs for an inexpensive, pleasant stay. The outdoor garden gives the guests a special place to eat breakfast, read, or enjoy the setting. An abundance of large toys to help occupy children, but not intrusive on those of us who arrive without children.

In this former cinema, our room was utilitarian but with basic comforts, bright and clean, with . well-designed and pretty Provencale patterned shower/WC. There is a pleasant garden for breakfasting and/or picnics.
We found staff cheerful and efficient.
It's quite a climb to the second floor, even for fit people, but the hotel situation is very good - just a short walk to the centre with huge choice of restaurants on the rue Mistral.
Our choice was the Fleur de Sel, open all year and popular with locals.
Secure parking was an extra E6 per day.

During our stay we needed some help to confirm a complicated reservation elsewhere..the young lady at the desk, who speaks excellent english, could not have been more helpful in helping us to do this. She was also very knowledgeable about cycle paths, restaurants, etc.

The hotel itself was spotless, and comfortable, everything worked perfectly, and it is just a few mins walk from the main square and church. Could not have been better !

Room Tip: Rooms overlooking the back may be a little quieter..but it is a fairly quiet town...

We got a smelly room at first. One glance at the bed sheets and the bathroom showed this room had not been cleaned at all (hairs, stains). The matresses were also unpleasant and very old.

Important: All rooms seem to be smoking rooms. This was mentioned before booking, but I thought it was an error and asked for a no-smoking room, which was not acknowledged.

After complaining, we got a new room which seemed hastily cleaned before we moved in but was decent. Service otherwise o.k..

The location is great Lots of nice restaurant in walking distance.

Room Tip: The upper-storey rooms seem to be better. Beware of the last room on the first floor.

This is a very friendly, family hotel in the town of Les Saintes, Camargue. Good prices, lovely back garden for breakfast and a quick walk to the restaurants and shops of the town and the beaches. Usual french breakfast which is extra but served with a smile in the garden. You can bring your own food in to eat out there too. There is a supermarket just down the road to get food. Rooms clean and simple, bathroom with bath and shower but be aware they have the long french roll pillow. Do rent a bike in town and explore the Camargue, the Bird Park and miles of open sand beaches. Just spent 3 days there and had a great time. You must go to the Cafe El Campo in town to hear the gypsy guitarists Groupe Soy - amazing and authentic!

Room Tip: Rooms on the road side noisier when the garbage truck comes in the morning, try for one overlooking...
