We came to the Grand Hotel du Cours because the Michelin Guide mentioned that the restaurant served tasty traditional food and specialized in the renowned lamb from Sisteron.
We cannot remember having such mediocre, close-to-inedible food in a long long time. We ordered the the "saumon emincé" which was so stringy and tasteless we had it sent back. This was replaced by a salad with wilted lettuce and industrial dressing. Then the hoped-for leg of lamb arrived– a thin slice that may have been cooked days ago and reheated in the microwave. A high school cafeteria could have done better.
Have to add however that the serving people were quite nice and friendly.
