“you need time”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 July 2014

tasty fresh food. i had a plate with several small dishes - all of them well made and more filling than I thought). i felt comfy and well looked after although things took their time as the two ladies were very busy (never mind, they warned me on arrival).

“So good we went twice in two days”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 June 2014 via mobile

This charming organic restaurant serves delicious food at reasonable prices with friendly service. I loved how the chef came out to greet us personally, and the sheer variety of the Provençal platters, including gazpacho, tarts, roasted, deep fried & grated vegetables, and ratatouille. Wholly disagree with the negative review below - it's unreasonable to expect staff to speak perfect English in a small French town, particularly when they are so obliging to serve you. The fresh food is made with a skilled hand with real dedication to quality local ingredients, and served with a smile.

Great selection of food attractively presented. Platters well worth considering. Managed gluten free well. Pleasant service.

“Worst Meal & Service I've Ever Had”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 April 2014 via mobile

We went here tonight after reading some great Trip Advisor reviews. A huge disappointment. The wine was delicious, but everything else was downhill. The waitress was very sweet, but spoke not 1 word of English. Granted, we are in France, but we can usually get by. It took 30 minutes to get the water we requested. The bread had no flavor. We ordered ravioli, & we were served a casserole full of asparagus, wet bread, & flavorless cheese. It came with a salad & 3 spears if white, raw asparagus. I almost choked on my 1st bite. It took 1 1/2 hours to get served, & we left hungry.

“A special occasion”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 October 2013

This was a very happy gathering of 12 friends and my husband and I, planned by French and Belgian friends on our behalf.
The meal began with an aperitif ,rose-peach with delicious hors d'oeuvres including devils on horseback, a great favourite.

We all chose succulent leg of lamb with a lovely variety of vegetables washed down with pichets of wine or water. We could have had a vegetarian platter but just couldn't resist the lamb.

Several desserts were offered but everyone chose Floating Islands, my husbands favourite. The price was 27 euros per person and the coffee was free.

Ingredients are locally sourced and organic.

This is our fifth visit to this restaurant over the last two years and we have never been disappointed.

The proprietor and her two daughters and the young chef in the kitchen were both attentive and interested.

The view from the restaurant is over the big square lined with shops and restaurants of all descriptions.

It is essential to reserve your table and special occasions will be catered for according to your wishes.
