Dined at the Chateau on a Thursday evening, certainly not fully booked but enough tables occupied to give a bit of an atmosphere. The Chateau has a certain old world charm about it, but the place feels like it could do with freshening up.
The food was well executed but lacked flavour and the quality of the meat (beef and lamb) was not up to standard. The food in general felt a bit tired no freshness/life to any of the dishes we tried. The price is out of proportion to the quality served, and the wines were far too expensive with little choice. Unfortunately was not at all impressed and can’t recommend the restaurant.
