“Excellent Ambiance but too costly”
Reviewed 3 January 2014

The Ambiance is excellent but the cost to Food quality and quantity is not worth. If interested in spending more money then I would recommend for 1 visit. The Service is not friendly but a straight blunt face (could be only for Indian customers).

“Pretty good”
Reviewed 27 December 2013

The ambiance is cosy even if the place was empty on a weekday christmas holidays lunchtime. They claimed to have no record of our phone reservation made the day before. Apart from that, the service was fine, although a bit stiff.
Lunchtime menus at EUR 15 or 20 are very reasonable, my lamb Rogan Josh was fine. For sure the portions are relatively small compared to some other restaurants, but frankly I don't want to call for a stretcher to leave the restaurant any more. Those are actually reasonably sized portions! Salt level was reasonable.

Quite high prices for a la carte with non-veg mains at EUR 20 not including rice or bread

OK to go here

“Nice enough food, Arrogant waiter over-priced food!”
Reviewed 8 December 2013

A group of four of us visited for an evening meal. Whilst the food was pleasant enough, the waiter was arrogant and the feeling we all had was that he felt above serving us. The food was very expensive foe what you got. I guess it is probably 3 times the price of a UK Indian restaurant, but the portions are only 2/3 the size.

In France you get to live with the high prices, but there is no need for the attitude which let the owners down (unless he was the owner!).

“Just OK food no value for money, ignorant service,”
Reviewed 11 September 2013

Very nice interior decoration but very slow, inattentive staff with no backbone when it comes asking for a tip.
We were very happy with the food quality (but not with quantity, very small portions) on our 1st visit (in winter months, loved the dry fruit naan bread & tikka masala) but very disappointed when we went back (in August). It was like heaven and hell. Friends had a similar experience so crossing this one of the list. We all agreed that summer is probably not a very good time to visit this restaurant as they are pre-occupied by wealthy clientele from Middle East so prices go up and quality down.

Count 20+euros for main dish, 6e for rice, 4e+ for naan.
Tad pricey for France, no?

“Very good food”
Reviewed 3 September 2013

Very authentic looking restaurant located in the heart of commercial centre, in the centre of a courtyard of Divonne. It attracts you with the aroma of its cuisine and Indian spices. We like this restaurant as the food is great. It is presented on a hot plates in very neat manner with a little contemporary touch. Staff are nice but with no smile on their face, almost looks like they are over worked. They are so busy ensuring that the service is right and timely, in the process they forget that part of the eating out experience is also meeting nice people who provide friendly welcome to clients. It is a little over priced for the food but if you live in the neighbourhood best place to go. Inside the restaurant is the decor and choice of colour is too dark and little crowded. Other than that I recommend the place.
