Just returned today (16/02/14) from an excellent week in Alpe D'Huez.
Great service at this Inghams chalet hotel. Food was exceptional when catering for around 80 people per night. Catered for my 10-year old 's food allergies (wheat & gluten) perfectly at main meals and afternoon tea (excellent chef team baked his own cake/tarts).
Now installed wi-fi on all floors this week.
Shelley & her mainly British team, couldn't have been more friendly or helpful.

Room Tip: Rooms away from central stair & lift area, may prove quiter for families.

Had an amazing week at this Chalet, cant complain at all! I was there with 6 others from the 2nd Feb to the 9th. All the staff are more than helpful, met us on arrival, helped us with all our bags and saw us into our rooms. The chatel was always imaculately clean and tidy, every day we would come back to a pristine room, not 1 thing out of place! The food was to a very high standard, breakfast buffet with cooked options, varied homemade soups and cakes after skiing and a lovely restaurant quality 3 course meal in the evenings, with canpes in the bar to begin. The sauna and steam room was used to its full potentional by my group every evening, this was a nice touch. The Chatlet was in a good location, just a 2 min walk away from the 1st chair lift or 5 min walk to the pods and approx a 10 min walk into the centre, but there where bars/restaurants just meters away. Overall I had a very pleasent stay and would recommend it to anyone. Top marks to the staff they are all so enthusiastic and easy going, and of course the chef for the fab food!!

Room Tip: We had no noise on the 3rd floor, was down corridoor away from lift.

Great place for our group ski holdiay, 5 mins walk and short ski to nearest lift, or complimentary bus service to ski school central ski lift area. Could ski back via a red run to within 5 mins walk of hotel. Rooms clean, basic but certainly adequate, bathrooms modern and very clean, plenty of hot water, bar and lounge area pleasant with fantastic views. Large restaurant and all meals were excellent. Great choice at breakfast, lovely afternoon tea with choice of cakes etc. Excellent and plentiful dinner with free flowing wine. Staff excellent, very attentive and hard working. Hotel at Inghams grade 3*+ certainly exceeded expectations and we would defiantly return.

Stayed here for one week from 26 Jan. I was leader of a group of 14 people and we all enjoyed an excellent week. The chalet is run by a professional, friendly and enthusiastic team who were all very friendly and hard working. Food was excellent, an extensive breakfast buffet with a daily hot option which put you in good stead for a hard day on the slopes. There was a very good choice of cakes etc at afternoon tea. The evening meal was chosen at breakfast from a menu that usually included a choice of 2 meat, or 1 meat & 1 fish option plus a veggi option. The meal was well cooked and very well presented. There was always a choice of 2 white, 2 red and a rosie wine which was of a very reasonable quality and flowed & flowed & flowed. We stayed in room 1 which was right above the bar on the first floor but we were not disturbed by any noise. The bedroom had been recently refurbished and was more than adequate by French standards. The bathroom was modern and bright but the bath was a little on the small size, hot water was plentiful, The bar was well used, well run and I found prices to be ok.
Access to the slopes for reasonable skiers is very good. A short walk takes you to a little run down to the Grand Sure lift which takes you to the top of Signal and into the system quickly. In the evening you can ski almost back to the hotel via a red run down Signal. For novices the free ski bus stops right outside the hotel and you can ski back at night via a flat path that requires some poleing. Do not use the Yoghurt pots as it is quite a walk,(& uphill on the return) and they take for ever to reach the ski school meeting place. Boot room was big enough and had some heating but as usual with the majority of hotels there was only one small bench to sit on whilst you put your boots on, please provide a few more please.
Overall we couldn't fault the hotel, the food, the staff or the location and had an excellent holiday, well done Inghams

Room Tip: South facing rooms have excellent views
