Chalet Le Panoramic
Reviewed 6 January 2013

We have just returned from a lovely week at le Chalet Panoramic and can only agree with all the reviews we read before we booked. It is an absolutely beautiful chalet, perfectly located and well equipped with everything you could possibly need. The team can't do enough for you - we even borrowed a ski coat for the week when we arrived and realised our daughter had forgotten hers (!?) - and it all seems effortless. The food is just delicious - great variety too. We enjoyed the hot tub each afternoon and were spoit on New Years Eve with an incredible meal and private fireworks party! Thank you.

We were part of Xenolith's party and arrived the last week of the season. After his review which we completely agree with, there is almost nothing that I can add other than to say this was the best family holiday of our lives! Andrew, Jesse, Dani and Christina were a credit to Lisa and Simon and did everything possible to ensure we had the best stay ever and were constant mines of information. They all went an extra mile in ensuring we were well fed,(great and varied food) well watered (with wine and beer!) comfortable (great rooms) and entertained! Leg wrestling on the last night was a new experience for us all!
Lisa and Simon were very effiecient to deal with and E mails and questions before arrival dealt with promptly. Everything ski wise was organised by the time we arrived and the efficiency in obtaining our ski’s and passes was impressive. All we had to do was enjoy ourselves which was very easily done at Chalet Panoramic!! I would not hesitate to recommend the Chalet and we would hope to see you again!

Room Tip: We stayed oin the top florr which had good views and was quiet.

Where to start? Firstly believe all the previous brilliant reviews as they are completely true. You book, you contact Lisa, you turn up at Geneva airport, and the rest is done for you.

Wow, wow, wow is all we can say!!! We were ski newbies and everything was just fantastic. The chalet is beautiful, the food is stunning and the Le Panoramic team is just absolutely fantastic.

A big "thank you" to Lisa, Simon, Dani, Andrew, Christina and Jesse for the most fabulous holiday - you guys are absolutely amazing and so genuine, which is very rare to find these days.

The only problem is now trying to find the time in our diaries to return to Le Panoramic as soon as possible again.

Thanks again for everything and see you all next season - Mike and Natalie

Well, where do we start? Before coming to Le Panoramic we had no idea what a catered chalet was like. If this is the benchmark then it will take some beating. Lisa, Simon, Andrew, Jesse, Dani and Christina you are a credit to the hospitality industry. Great food and endless attention to detail really sets this place apart. Our favourite meals? Its hard to say, it was all so interesting and varied - We loved the Tom Yum, the Sticky Pork, the Salmon, the Chilli Con Carne they were all wonderful! The deserts were divine - Panacotta, sticky toffee pudding and that SEX BOMB!! A most delicious Baked Alaska! And a nice touch were the canapés - not the usual fare. But those Cakes! I HATE cake but......I had to try just an incy wincy little bit of everything....! As others have said, nothing was too much, always jovial, always there, and always being replaced (with more wine that is!). The assistance given to the 3 members of our party of 30 who were ill (not skiing or Chalet related!!!!!) was heart-warming. Cocktails in the hot tub and the final night Party were events to be remembered. The rooms were spotlessly clean, warm and beautifully furnished - a really nice look. Compared to the normal offering of French Accommodation this place is a cavernous palace.Even late in the season the Chalet was still ski in ski out. Was it expensive? Not terribly so, if anything it shows that good value still exists. If you had up the intangible extras then this was as cheap as it could be. Was it a 'Luxury' Chalet? I'm not sure, but if it isn't then someone else has got their work cut out......

The ease with which all our luggage, skis and transport was dealt with would put a 5 star hotel to shame.

We've been to some top hotels around the World who would struggle to have the same effect. This was probably one of the best, if not THE best holidays our family has had.

We would love to return.

Room Tip: Tetras was quiet and has a view over the Village - quite pretty with the snow! Its not a bad size ei...

We have just returned from a fabulous stay at Chalet Le Panoramic. Everything was excellent throughout from the organisation of ski hire and passes to the food, as well as the chalet itself. It is the "Pan" team though that really gives this place the edge. Lisa and Simon are superb hosts assisted by an able and experienced team of friendly but always professional young people. Nothing was too much trouble. As a group of 28 friends made up of 6 families between us we certainly kept the staff busy including right up to the last moment when they called us on our way home to say we had left our return train tickets behind! Within an hour they had been despatched to us at Annecy station. Lisa - you saved my life! We would love to return one day, soon.......Thanks very much for everything. Nicola, Rob and kids

The high ratings for this chalet are well deserved and I can happily endorse the accolades of the many reviewers who have shared their experiences of Le Panoramic. Lisa, Simon and their excellent team made our first experience of a catered chalet most enjoyable. As promised, our ski passes were waiting for us, our rented skis were collected from and returned to the shop in town and when my wife injured her knee at the Balme, Simon quickly arrived to rescue her, thus preventing a drama becoming a crisis! If you are looking for a first class and trouble free skiing break right on the slopes then Le Panoramic is the place for you.
We were fortunate to have shared our week with a lovely group of people (and 4 well behaved children) all of whom added to the experience. So many thanks to Lisa, Simon and theTeam - and our fellow guests.

Holidays are hard earned, and we always choose with some consideration, so.. after much searching we found Le Clusaz and Le Panoramic, it’s easy just to say we had a great week at Chalet Le Panoramic, but the break deserves much much more than this, basically its out and out star..
The Chalet is just a great place to chill out, a great atmosphere (Mostly around the fab bar) and the smell of that wood burning hot tub just about ensures you forget about the day job..

For practical minds the chalet has nearly everything you could ever want, on the piste with a great view of the village, all the facilities and boot warmers (Which are always a welcome addition), and the unbelievable lugging about the guys do to make the stay easy is beyond the expected level, in fact the team were really helpful and accommodating (And always smiling, even when they are aching from hitting the freestyle park – Christina!). Jesse the chef did a fantastic job and went out of his way to spend time and chat.
The rooms, bijoux but most importantly they're lovely and warm and well kitted out, (And the hot water was plentiful at the end of crunchy day on the mountain.)
The team are welcoming, the chalet charming the food just fine and the snow perfect.. Well done Le Panoramic, Lisa/Simon/Andrew/Dani/Christina/Jesse et al.. I thinks it’s safe to say that overall we would be happy to recommend this chalet… (But please, please don’t tell everyone.. we still need space next season for us to squeeze in a trip!).
