This was so perfect. We wanted to take our four elderly parents somewhere accessible, but also luxurious and beautiful, and La Clusaz and this lovely hotel could not have been a better choice. So quick from Geneva, La Clusaz is very pretty and compact, the hotel has gorgeous suites with balconies overlooking the views, excursions by road, up bubble-cars and telecabines to mountain-top and lakeside restaurants - they loved it. All outings were recommended by the pleasant staff at front desk.

The village and the hotel were both charming and welcoming - in the hotel cosy alpine features combine with cool contemporary style. Incredible cooking and delightful staff, always helpful and kind, and great service in the bar. Try their affordable Savoyard white wines for aperitif. The chefs at the hotel are amazing, but the hotel also recommends great local places nearby if you want a simple raclette or traditional fondue, too. If you do the hotel breakfast buffet, order the crepes! And the soft-boiled eggs - literally a masterpiece of freshness and perfection, with a stack of tiny, slender toast soldiers......

Considering we were the last week of the winter season, we were impressed how fresh and good-natured the atmosphere was - I've stayed in chalets in April where the staff can obviously not wait to see the back of us tourists! There wasn't an outside sun terrace, which would have been nice before dinner - but we had lovely balconies.

We didn't have time for the spa, but it looked very good, and other guests were enjoying the pool, with views, through full-length windows, of the rushing mountain river alongside. NICE!

Room tip: Some balconies get morning sun, some afternoon sun - ask for your preference if going for balcony room. There was no outside terrace, so we were glad to have a balcony to bask on as the sun set.

We stayed here for the Easter break and we were charmed by La Clusaz and this hotel. The location is fantastic - less than a minute from the key lifts and it's real ski in.p

The rooms are clever and our suite was essentially two rooms with a partition wall that allowed it to be joined to the adjoining single room next door. This is great for those travelling with kids and as a result this is a family orientated hotel.

Each night we had quality chocolates on the bed with unlimited netspresso coffee from the machine and we also enjoyed the large bottle of complimentary mineral water every day.

The restaurant Cin5 is top quality with a kitchen capable of delivering great food every night - the Guinea Fowl was a particular highlights.

Swimming pool, steam room and sauna were fine although a lack of fresh air in the swimming pool area meant that it was difficult to chill on a sun lounger for a long period of time,

What worked less well - the boot room is way too small for the hotel - it's pandemonium in the 30 mins before the first lift and this is made worse by the lack of pro-active help with kids boots etc meaning that non skiing parents were often in the mix trying to get everyone ready.

I can't give 5 stars as sleep was a problem for us, pillows were too large and the room to hot meaning the window had to be left open and this meant the noise from a busy end of season town centre intruded somewhat- but we would return AND recommend

Yet another great visit to La Clusaz and a great hotel. Always so welcoming with small and personal touches which make such a difference .
The ski room right next to door to the hotel makes life so much easier, and always a bit of hearty banter to be had !
Can't wait for next season!

Just back from from a four day stay in the hotel in the lovely resort of la clusaz. I cannot fault any element of my stay, perfect location, the staff were great, the rooms were good (lovely being able to have a whirlpool bath after a day on the slopes), and the food in resturant is amazing, a proper fine dining experience....my wife is a reluctant skier but as along as I bring her back here, I reckon we can go as often as I want now!

excellent standard of hotel. We used it as a ski location and is ideal situation. virtually on piste whilst in the town centre for ease of access to shops bars and Restaurants.
We ate in hotel and enjoyed a superb meal. Service was excellent with friendly and helpful staff.
Ski hire were part of hotel service.
Rooms were modern but with alpine feel.
Only down side was lack of drawers and coat hanging in rooms.
But will definitely return.
