Had a fantastic local Alp (Savoie) night out eating Raclette and steak cooked on hot stone at the table! Mega attentive staff, food prepared to perfection and good selection of wines and beers. Would recommend to all, give the french mountain cuisine a try. :-)

We went on our chalet staff night off. We had raclette and a hot stone meal which you cooked your meat on. All served with a delicious salad, bread and jacket potato. Service was quick and friendly.

We were staying in a chalet in Les Deux-Alpes and had to eat out one night as the chalet staff have an evening off.
There are 10 of us aged between 24 & 56, we thought we may struggle as we hadn't booked anywhere.
We walked into town and looked in on La Patate. The restaurant looked very nice and the menu varied and reasonable, there were several people eating, we asked if they had a table for 10 which they did.
The staff were welcoming and accommodating, as ordering drinks and food with 10 talking over each other can be challenging. The food was good quality and the portions were large. The staff were attentive with the drinks and food.
We all had a great family meal and they didn't seem to mind that we were all a bit loud. I would thoroughly recommend this traditional Alps restaurant and on my return I wouldn't hesitate to go there again.

After calling around for two days to find a restaurant to seat 10 on our chalet girls day off, we were unsuccessful. After walking into town we noticed the restaurant and although it was empty we decided to go in. A great night, attentive service and fantastic food. Not 1 complaint from the 10 of us. Would definitely recommend and will return next time we are in Les Deux Alpes

Attended with friends on the day where chalet staff have their day off.

Walked past and they managed to seat 8 of us as the restaurant was completely empty. Warm welcome though.

Had the cheese fondue which you have to share. The cheese for it was good, however the meat did not appear to be fresh or the accompanying salad for a friends starter.

Wine was probably the worse white wine I have tried in a restaurant.

All for a proxy 40 euros / person without a starter or dessert and I'd say is not particularly good value for money at all. More expensive than the mountain restaurants!
