Everything you would expect from a Michelin star restaurant and more. We ordered the set menu and weren't disappointed. Each course came immaculately presented, with a stunning and imaginative combination of flavours. The wines they paired with the courses were also delicious. My particular favourite was the chocolate infused with spiced tea dessert. The service from entering the hotel, through the meal was outstanding. Unfortunately we had to leave in a rush as we had to get a shuttle to our hotel on the other side of the resort. I would recommend about 3 hours to fully appreciate and enjoy this experience (and skip lunch before)! Looking forward to coming back soon. I'd probably also stay at the hotel next time.

There is a set dinner menu, changing by the day (though other requests were accommodated.) Very efficient - we weren't kept waiting long at all between courses. Attentive staff. Finally I realise how top quality dishes are meant to be! Every morsel delicious. An investment without disappointment.

Le P'tit Polyte, the gourmet restaurant in Les 2 Alpes' best hotel Chalet Mounier, fully deserves its Michelin star and excellent reputation.
It's in a different league from anywhere else in the resort, both for quality and price.
Superb, innovative cooking, attentive service, attractive decor and comfortable seating make this by far the best place for a gastronomic night out in Les 2 Alpes.
It only seats about 30 and is usually full, so booking well in advance is essential.
Dinner takes several hours, with lots of surprise extras, and menus cost from €55 upwards. The huge wine list is more like a book.

Avoid New Year's eve which is very expensive.

We booked a table for New Year's Eve and it was a big mistake! The price was expensive which for a Michelin star restaurant you semi expect but the meal lasted over 4 hours... the staff clearly had no idea what was going on and kept on running around (apart from the 'sommeliers' who did a great job), the food was good but nothing that special after all, and they didn't even include a glass of champagne (£18 a glass!) as part of the menu! it was the 31st December and it should be one of those given / expected things! So as far as we are concerned no manners and the sense that they are there to make money rather than giving good service. Unbelievable if you ask me. I wouldn't go back nor recommend it.
