“Tremendous local cuisine with very friendly service”
Reviewed 23 August 2013

A real treat. Imaginative starters (Melon Gazpacho - delicious), followed by traditional cheese fondu and cook-at-your-table meat course. All delicious and the meat of a very high quality. Exceptionally friendly and welcoming staff. A good range of wine - none very cheap, but we had a mid-range red which was very good and worth the money. Couldn't resist the ice-cream puddings, which were also delicious. Not the cheapest meal we have ever eaten, but certainly one of the tastiest. The family cant wait to go back.

“Good traditional food and atmosphere”
Reviewed 22 August 2013

This restaurant offers unpretentious service and traditional food that is a joy to eat. The pela (a cheese based dish) is accompanied by a substantial salad which removes any guilt if you are watching calories (I'm not). I had an excellent beef filet which was cooked spot on medium as requested with a large bowl of skin on pomme frites. Highly recommended if you are in Les Gets and seeking traditional food.

“Family Restaurant”
Reviewed 15 March 2013

The restaurant has a traditional menu, friendly staff and a nice view too. No pretence..just plain good family time. I would go back there again to have a relaxing dinner with family.

“you can' t go wrong”
Reviewed 18 February 2013

OK, if you don't like the traditional alpine wooden furniture that is virtually everywhere, you will not like La Pela either, but other than that it is an place you can't go wrong. Good food and service, not very fancy but good value for money.

“Our fourth visit since August 2012”
Reviewed 23 January 2013

We live here in Les Gets and its our restaurant of choice for entertaining family and friends. We went in last night and the Pela with Cepes was sublime. As well as the food the service is very attentive and the decor and ambiance are guaranteed to impress, it feels like you are walking anito an old farm especially with the roaring log fire.
