Before we start I'm not a regular complainer and have posted good reviews on other places. This review has been written AFTER the 'refurbishment' mentioned on the Alpine Elements website.
OPINION: If you are looking for 'a must-have chalet for skiers wanting a little more luxury and style' this isn't it. If you are looking for an overpriced 2 star you're in luck. The chalet staff were excellent and did what they could with poor supplies but this is a basic chalet and corners are cut on food, linen, room sizes - pretty much everything.
Linen was threadbare and stained (although clean), there were no curtains in the rooms - even on the ground floor.
Delicious buttered croissant for brekkers? no chance, try a frozen 'pastry' from the supermarket with chemical gloop marg.
Porridge is one of the daily breakfast 'specials'.
Living room does not have enough space to seat everyone in the chalet for pre-dinner drinks.
I did raise these points with Alpine Elements but received the standard gobbledegook reply with an offer of 10% next year - as if I'd travel with them again.
