A week skiing topped off by the fantastic Hotel Christiania. Food, service and ambience were as good as it gets. Wine list excellent, knowledgeable friendly staff, and a roaring log fire, what more could you want? Likewise location of hotel to slopes. Hotel Christiana is truly something special, you would be hard pushed to find better!

This may not be be classified as five star but it is a wonderful hotel in a wonderful location with friendly staff. The room I was allocated had been redecorated recently. An excellent and affordable wine list too. Go!

We only had a few days skiing and this hotel was perfect. It was the only one we could find that didn't require us to stay a whole week so we had a saturday to wednesday break.
The staff are very friendly. The location is perfect. Ski in ski out with boot room that really dries the boots.
The food is much better than the two stars suggests.
They let us stay in the room till twelve on our departure day.
The manager, Derek, is very friendly and sorted out our squeaky toilet door with no hassle.
We were in the attic room which is quite small and does pick up a bit of noise from the road in the late evening but quiet overnight and it had a missing shower door panel. The owner said they were awaiting the part and oifferd us a free botle of wine in compensation.
I'd go back.

This is such a good little hotel that we keep coming back. This time during school holidays, lots of children for our 5 year old to play and ski with, children's tea is ideal and outdoor hot tub a treat. The food is outstanding, really good menu and friendly staff, it is so relaxing. We like the new look of the hotel since refurbishment and it hasn't lost its charm. The location is perfect, right on the slope and ski in ski out, near ski school and village facilities. Good snow fall at night and sunshine during the day, a brilliant skiing holiday.

Room Tip: Room 3 was good for a couple with small child - bath/shower and ground floor location, not noisy.

First time at the Christiania and i was really impressed. A great location in town but right on the piste, cant believe there is a beter spot in the town. The best things however were the food, which was fab, and the bar & the lounge area. Its just the right size to bring everyone together in a relaxed friendly and totally chilled enviroment. A great place to make friends or just sit and recover from your skiing efforts. There were 3 children in our party and with the other kids there they created their own zones either in the tele room or the play room. Close enough so you can keep a watch on them but not under your feet. The free WIFI certainly helped in keeping them entertained in the evening.

I cant fault the staff - from top to bottom they were extremly helpful and always friendly.

Back with my 5yo son to Hotel Christiania. My 6th and his 2nd stayed for 9 days, it is great bto have that flexibility and staying for the extra couple of days meant that you weren't so rushed. Food was the usual 5 star and the over all experience great, everybody so friendly chatting away over a wee glass of something cold. All the kids played away together and had a great time. You couldn't get a better location I skied into the ski store and when you go out the front door you right into the town center.

Room Tip: Don't go for the bunkroom
