If you enjoy losing electricity three times a day in a first world country then by all means stay here. The host tried to tell us it was a shortage of electricity in the village what a load of B*****ks. I stayed in Les Gets on the recommendation of friends and no one else experienced these troubles- a lack of leccy is most inconvenient in the middle of a film or the middle of dinner! Cheap owners that was the only cause e.g....
1) bad amenities
+
2)Being lied to
=
3)Common sense-don't stay in this restrictive hellhole!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The only good thing about this chalet was the food. The woman that runs it took 8 weeks to reply to one of my emails and even then was rude and behaved as though I was some kind of problem for her. There were not room keys for each bedroom in the chalet and the ones we were given opened ALL THE DOORS-terribly unsafe!!!! We got on well with the host but she was quite clearly afraid of the ogre boss in her ear!! We were allowed such limited wine at dinner and one drink before that but there are no real provisions to bring in your own alcohol. The host was very kind and allowed us to use a hidden away fridge that was near impossible to get to but it was impractical and awkward. We were made to feel unwelcome via email before we had even arrived and then upon arrival there were so many rules and regulations regarding the use of the chalet we felt ill at ease. We weren't even allowed to use the cooker to prepare lunch!!! The only reason this place got 2 stars was for the lovely dinners but as a whole...Yuk yuk yuk, if you want an easy relaxing holiday in your own space STAY WELL AWAY!!
