“Very comfortable place”
Reviewed 27 February 2014

The most comfortable and quiet restaurant in the centre of town. Decent cooking, main courses about 28€. Very pleasant atmosphere, although could be warmer.

“The worst service I have ever had”
Reviewed 10 January 2014

The restaurant l'Outa was across the road from our Hotel in Les Gets so decided to try it out. We arrived early, 7.20 and were the 2nd table to arrive. Our welcome was good - we took our 2 children aged 12 and 14 and the menu looked good. We chose sashimi and a hot leek and cheese starter. The starters were good, but after that we waited another hour and nothing arrived we asked how long the main course would be to which we were told it was coming….another 10 -15 mins we asked again and the owner said it would be another 15 mins by which time we were getting a little impatient….it still didn't arrive and finally the owner came owner and said if we didn't want to eat we could leave!! He was so rude and kept telling us the food didn't come out of bags but was made freshly!! As we were ordering steaks it didn't really make sense. All I can say is 'please don't go there' they don't deserve the custom, we were patient and understanding, but they were rude and couldn't cope!

“L'Outa is hte best in the area”
Reviewed 5 August 2013

We have eaten here several times and will return again I am sure. the food is great and so is the decor and ambiance. It is not the typical Mountain Cafe, it does not serve Ham , bread and cheese, which seems to be the staple diet of most of the other restaurants in the area.

Great and cosy atmosphere, friendly service, excellent food.
We've had dinner inside, we'll come back soon to experience the garden terrace soon.
Happy to have discovered it, it will be our address in Les Gets !

“Dining while watching the snow fall”
Reviewed 23 January 2013

A lovely local restaurant with a menu including delicious shellfish, wild boar from Iberia and perfectly cooked steak. I would highly recommend the Oeuf en cocotte as a starter! Desserts are a must as they are not only delicious but so beautifully presented. Service is great and so is the wine list. Simply divine.
