If you want to splash out on a special meal on the slopes the this is probably the place to go in the the Morzine/Les Gets area. Superb BBQ food and gorgeous looking deserts. A little pricey but worth it for the quality of the meal, the ambience and, on a sunny day, great views from the terrace. You'll probably need to book and service can be slow, but great to just sit, relax and enjoy the food and perhaps a glass or two of wine.

Vraiment excellent. Pour apero ou lunch. Bravo. Apparently I have to write more words to satisfy trip advisor. But it really is quite a special place.

Thank Dugong

Whilst you are on the slopes call in the La Paika for a drink and you will see the fabulous BBQ. The food here is excellent and you may have to book at peak times. Rare for a restuarant on the slopes but its well worth it.

Went here three times. They specialise in BBQ and their food is excellent. Large terrace but booking beforehand is recommended (though they did lose our booking twice even though we watched them write it down). If you can grab one of the tables on their terrace but away from the building you will probably get a waitress looking after you - she was more efficient than the boys. The salads are delicious (goat's cheese one very yummy), brochette good, giant gambas from Cameroon very good (though once you take the shells off all the marinade has gone so suggest either go back to the BBQ man and request some ladled onto the shelled gambas or grab a mayonnaise).
Website below shows you where it is located. One day whilst contemplating the menu they said they had tuna steaks, it was one of the best I have ever had. On our last day they had some swordfish steaks but I was determined to try the gambas. The puddings/desserts are also amazing, we did not try them but others around us told us they were excellent. Once again the portion sizes were large. Pricey but you get what you pay for....

Great food, the BBQ was cooking up fabulous meats and prawns. I had salade chèvre Chaud which was excellent. A lovely place to spend a sunny lunchtime!
