I was part of a group booking for a holiday at this hotel. So wasn't sure what to expect as I hadn't been involved with the choosing and booking of it.

I was sharing a bedroom with a friend and we had a wonderful ensuite twin room with rainforest shower and balcony overlooking the slopes and village. It was a great bedroom with room to both fully unpack and put away our things.

The Crychar is a lovely hotel with friendly staff.

The hotel bar was cosy with log fire and terrace outside with wooly fleeces for anyone heading outside for cigarette.

The Crychar is conveniently located on the side of the main piste into Les Gets and yet is only a five minute walk into the village centre.

There is a separate ski entrance into the boot room which was roomy with heated boot rack.
But the best thing of all about our stay - was the food.
The Crychar food is delicious - out of this world. It was tasty and varied and looked lovely too.

We had a vegetarian in our party who does also eat fish so she ended up eating a lot of tasty fish. But the meat was wonderful. The daily cheeseboard was fabulous too.

The wine list at the Crychar is enormous but we being a fairly big group stuck to the house wine - which was lovely.
A great week.
Not the cheapest way of doing a ski holiday - but I've never eaten such good food on a ski holiday!

Les Gets is very quiet as a resort - great for families perhaps not so good for groups as there is not much après-ski to speak off but with a ski area so big it more than made up for it.

Recently stay Dec 22 13 for 9 nights, truly a fantastic well run family hotel, excellent for skiing, all staff so helpful and friendly.
Food 1st class perfect if your thinking of a close to town ski in ski out hotel.
Any one trying to fault it in my opinion is being picky !! will book again for Christmas.

Room Tip: standard rooms lovely but not huge, if you want more space choose superior however if skiing and not there in day standard rooms are well equipped.

This is a super top class hotel and has become a "must" for our biking trips to Les Gets. The staff and owners couldn't have been more helpful. We have two small children and they went out of their way to help and accommodate us as much as they could including cooking separate meals for our kids!! All the staff looked after us so well. The food is excellent and all cooked in house. Gregory is a top class chef. We will definitely be coming back here very soon. An absolute gem!!!

We had a wonderful weekend at this super hotel . The facilities in the hotel and the position of the hotel within the village were excellent . All the staff gave first class customer service and couldn't do enough for us , even giving us a lift into nearby Morzine . The standard of the food was excellent , particularly the breakfasts . We definitely intend to return here soon - many thanks Celine and Gregory - truly fab !!
