Well worth checking this husband and wife team out. A small but charming restaurant with a relatively small menu. The service is low key and fabulous, its an evening experience that represents really good value for money and perhaps the most important element, the food is truly excellent. My wife particularly enjoyed the lamb shank and mash when she opted for this as her main. A huge portion and lamb on the bone that was so tender the meat dissolved in her mouth. I loved the Duck Parmentier. The menu description wasn't particularly head turning but the dish was wonderful. Imagine tender confit duck layered in a rich, buttery mashed potato timbal sitting is a honey an balsamic sauce. The taste was divine. The only down side to this place is that you have to book, its far too popular to wander by casually and expect to find a table.
