Fantastic hotel, magnificent food, excellent location.
Though I cheated we stayed in one of their fantastic apartments and paid for half board at the hotel.
Wonderful solution to us and our 25 year old daughter.

Only downsides would like admission to pools to be free.
A toilet, mirror and shoe horns would be great in the ski locker.

Did not hear from, nor see our Inghams rep.

We've just had a most wonderful week at Les Suites. This was our first time here (and only second time in Tignes) and we've loved our stay at Les Suites. The staff here were really friendly and helpful. The apartment was everything we'd wanted (but never before achieved) - although we're a couple we were put in a duplex which could easily have slept four (one double room, one twin room, two bathrooms, separate toilet, really relaxing sitting room with woodburning stove). We had a half-board arrangement, and we had the choice of dining in every restaurant belonging to Village Montana. The food was always copious and of excellent quality, and always served with a smile. Situated right on the piste with an easy ski in/out access to Palafour, or a five minute walk to the town center, this really is an excellent spot to stay in Tignes.

This is not a cheap option at £450/night but it is very nice. We stayed in a 2 floor room with a bedroom on the ground floor and bathroom with its own steam room and jacuzzi bath/shower. Upstairs had a living room overlooking the slopes with a real fire and table with chairs, another bathroom and twin bedroom. There were only 2 of us so we had lots of room. It was really nice having the living space to relax in.
There are several choices of restaraunts to eat in, we went on a half board basis. The one in our hotel was the gourmet one but that gerts a bit too much all week so we swapped to a couple of the others and also had room service at no extra charge. The food on the whole was very nice but to be charged extra (14 euros) for chicken instead of having say the fish on offer was a bit much when paying £450/night. This is why it hasn't got 5 stars.
The breakfast was nice but limited on the cooked food side of things.
The position of the hotel is great - ski in and out straight off the slopes.
The staff were excellent and very accommodating.

This hotel is rated as a four star - look at it as a basic three star and you will not be disappointed. Whilst most of the staff were friendly and helpful, Sebastian who ran the restaurant was arrogant, unhelpful and lazy. His knowledge of French wines was non-existent - telling me (in a bored voice) that the Syrah grape is grown exclusively in Bordeaux, France does not produce any wines that are single grape varieties and the bottle I had chosen "tasted fruity and was red" I would expect the Maitre d' of a 4 star restaurant to be better informed!

We have just come back from a fabulous week at Hotel Montana. Not only could you ski direct from the door of the hotel, but the hotel was excellent.

The rooms were large, showers were hot and powerful, the staff were all very friendly and helpful, the food in both restaurants was very good. We would recommend this hotel to anyone who wishes to go half board during the ski-ing season as this is by far the best we have stayed in.
