Further to the above description, we also stayed here that week and can only say that the hotel is a health and safety hazard.

The hotel simply isn't finished - it's dirty, it's cold and doesn't live up to the brochure. No apology was offered from Crystal or Langley, and we had to basically force Crystal to appear at the hotel to tell us what was going on. The resort staff were in-experienced in how to handle this situation and they even said the hotel shouldn't have been opened.

Crystal should never have accepted this hotel as finished and have a lot to answer for.

The food was cold, small, you had to pay for desert and coffee, the bar area is freezing, there is no heating downstairs, you have to have two sittings as the dining room isn't big enough for all guests (no detailed anywhere and you have to get up at 7am to book it before others), electrical wires hang down from the ceilings, no carpets on the staircases, fire detectors hanging down, hold in walls, lighting in the dining room not working so you will eat in the dark if you sit on the wrong tables, no safe in the room and workmen working throughout the hotel.

Good luck if your going, but at least you've been made aware of it !!

The snowboarding though was great, and a fab location. Shame about everything else.

It is true to say that some finishing work has been taking place at the Tango. Crystal Ski very much regrets any inconvenience caused to guests as a result.
The work is now nearly complete, all areas open to the public are fully refurbished and all finished rooms are currently being occupied. Feedback from our staff and from customers currently in residence is very positive.

The Tango is definitely the not same hotel described in the brochures and on the web! The Tango has reopened (formerly Hotel Corotel) following refurbishment over the summer. We were staying there last week. Well let me qualify that, 9 of our party did but myself and my partner had to stay somewhere else due to the unfinished state of the hotel. It was definitely NOT ready to receive guests and I believe we were not the only people that were affected by this. The hotel was in a dirty state and didn't appear to have been deep cleaned since the refurb but the worst of it was the electrics. Lights were not working, fire alarm points had not been fitted to the walls properly, extension leads were running everywhere - in fact I would say in my opinion that it was verging on unsafe, though things did improve for those staying there. In my opinion it was at least a couple of weeks of being finished. Being the first week open, the service was very slow at dinner (which my partner & I joined the rest of our party for) with half the table being served and then 20 minutes later the rest. To be fair the waiting staff were doing their best but the computer system and lack of management seemed to let them down. I would advise not staying here for at least another 4 weeks - by then things may have got better.
