Had a great stay at this hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was excellent. The hotel had a really good feel to it and I would recommend it and would definitely stay here again.

The hotel has a modern feel with a great bar, which is a popular après spot - but the noise did not carry to our room (third floor). It is not quite ski in / ski out but it's not far off with an easy walk at the beginning and end of the day. The food is good but portions are a little on the small side and having to pay for dessert and coffee felt like penny pinching. Service is friendly and efficient and overall I would recommend it and would go back there. Perhaps the lights in the dining room will be working by then!

We were worried about the unfinished comments, however the Hotel was finished to a good standard for a 3 star hotel, room clean but small and nice bedding. Free Wi fi in lobby, excellent band on most nights made it one of the liveliest bars in town.
Bar street with discos and bars is 100 m away.
We did ski in ski out to within 50 m, just make sure you catch the lifts back in time....so cant fault the location.
View of the pistes and town from our room was stunning.
The Swedish staff were really lovely , but we had a small issue we took up with the Manager who handled it badly, hope he learns from this, customers are important and he needs to make sure they are kept happy!!
Ski and boot room off the lobby, boot warmers worked great .
Downsides a few niggles, there are no hooks in the bedrooms nowhere to hang your ski wear, the walk in wet room flooded the floor, needs a different nozzle, nowhere to put the soap or shampoo, meant if you showered the whole bathroom was drenched, towels were nice.
Food was good but portions small and no sweet, unless you paid extra, presentation was excellent and served by some of the nicest staff you could wish to meet.
Would we stay again - most definitely- would we bring friends yes,

Just a quick review to put your minds at rest. It is finished! We've only been here a day but were very worried by previous reviews. It's been absolutely fine. Nothing to complain about. Will do a full review at end of our week.

After being assured by Crystal Ski on booking in November, that the hotel was near completion. It was nowhere near ready when we rocked up on 28th Jan for a weeks stay.
None of the rooms were ready and although it was supposed to be re-opened for business the week before, no one was able to inform us before we arrived. If Crystal were monitoring it's progress properly, then they would have been able to see that it wouldn't have been finished in time. The hotel staff and reps were inundated with complaints as we arrived and their answer to everything was to feed all the guests booze! The staff were friendly although they didn't seem to care too much that guests were unhappy. The restaurant was finished and open. The food there is delicious however not hearty enough for after a days long ski. Portion sizes were ridiculously small and everyone had to keep asking for more bread to fill themselves up. I'm sure that when they have completed it, it will be a good place to stay. It's centrally located but not ski in and out as advertised. It's only a few minutes walk to the slopes though. Fortunately, we were put into hotel portillo as a replacement whereas some other guests had to stay in Tango for the duration in rooms which were not finished (some had no heating!!)
Hotel Portillo was delightful. I'd recommend staying there.

Further to the above description, we also stayed here that week and can only say that the hotel is a health and safety hazard.

The hotel simply isn't finished - it's dirty, it's cold and doesn't live up to the brochure. No apology was offered from Crystal or Langley, and we had to basically force Crystal to appear at the hotel to tell us what was going on. The resort staff were in-experienced in how to handle this situation and they even said the hotel shouldn't have been opened.

Crystal should never have accepted this hotel as finished and have a lot to answer for.

The food was cold, small, you had to pay for desert and coffee, the bar area is freezing, there is no heating downstairs, you have to have two sittings as the dining room isn't big enough for all guests (no detailed anywhere and you have to get up at 7am to book it before others), electrical wires hang down from the ceilings, no carpets on the staircases, fire detectors hanging down, hold in walls, lighting in the dining room not working so you will eat in the dark if you sit on the wrong tables, no safe in the room and workmen working throughout the hotel.

Good luck if your going, but at least you've been made aware of it !!

The snowboarding though was great, and a fab location. Shame about everything else.

It is true to say that some finishing work has been taking place at the Tango. Crystal Ski very much regrets any inconvenience caused to guests as a result.
The work is now nearly complete, all areas open to the public are fully refurbished and all finished rooms are currently being occupied. Feedback from our staff and from customers currently in residence is very positive.
