Great small house, perfect for families or groups traveling with dogs. There is a generous sitting room and downstairs bathroom, with an ensuite bedroom and two additional bedrooms and hall bathroom upstairs. The private garden and surrounding countryside of wheat fields were utterly peaceful. We ate at the Inn at Kingsbarns, the local pub, at least one meal a day most days, and they became almost like family to us. Their old dog Caley (sp?) greeting guests, both four-legged and two-legged, inside the pub for dinner every night. A pleasure!
My parents, 2 daughters and 2 grandsons and I were the first people to stay at 'The View'. How lucky we were! This is a brand new accommodation, where everything is shiny and new and beautifully decorated. We had the most relaxing holiday. Kingsbarn has its own beach which is lovely, a pub which is very friendly and serves delicious food and the most tranquil setting with a fantastic view across the fields. Chris met us on arrival, but had already prepared the house meeting all our requests for beds and cots and high chairs etc. He was extremely friendly and gave us lots of info on the house and the area, and we were able to contact him at any time if need be. I would describe this house as a 'little gem' and I guess when more people visit it will become much harder to book. We intend to go back and spend more time on our next visit. I think we should book soon before we're too late!!!!!
