Went to RiseUp in September 2012 and am already planning a return with bigger group in 2014.
Phillip and the staff really were great in extending hospitality and being inclusive in all activities. Without Jorge, the groundsman/caretaker we would have been screwed. What that man has forgotten about fiberglass repair the rest of the world still has to learn.
The food, the hospitality, Phillip's local knowledge and what he is trying to do for sustainable ecotourism is exemplary.
