When we travel to Israel, we enjoy the variety that each locale offers. Ramon Resort Hotel is a must when staying in the Golan! We stayed in their fabulous private log château, with every modern amenity: hot tub, sauna, multi-spray shower, fireplace, coffee maker, kitchenette, and a vault. The private deck was complete with table and chairs, and a breathtaking view of the Kinneret/Sea of Galilee. The food was excellent, as well as the maid service. We were welcomed into our room with little gifts: a bottle of wine, fine bottled water, chocolates, cake, and a stocked refrigerator containing milk! All 'n all, this is rustic luxury! The walkways are lined with fragrant blooming bushes, and little birds fly about in abundance. We enjoy going to high end hotels to balance our volunteering on military bases through Volunteers for Israel/Sar El. Sar El is something fantastic to look into when you travel to this country. Special thanks to Shukie who took us on a car tour of the Golan, a free tour offered by the hotel. We look forward to returning to Ramon Resorts Hotel, often.

Room Tip: Opt for the luxury cabins.

This was my second time here. First time was a family event and we stayed in the small cottages, second time back was an organized corporate retreat and we stayed at the main hotel. This hotel offers the best view possible in the area of the Sea of Galilee with a 180 degrees of the Sea. The hotel in itself is nice enough and has all you would expect from a 4 star hotel. There is a beautiful pool, but it closes pretty early. There is a miniature gym with two treadmills and another machine of some sort. For dinner we had a private party at the pool, so I don't know how the food in the main restaurant is, but our meal was fabulous. Breakfast was as rich as it gets and the service was kind and sufficient. The rooms were nice and clean, nothing to brag about, but designed with a thought, although not to my taste. The hotel is spread out over a big area so be prepared for some walking.

We spent a night at the Ramot hotel around mid March and had an excellent experience. The location is great for trips in the Gola Heights, the room was extremely nice and breakfast was delicious. In short, it is a highly recommended hotel.

we had a great weekend in ramot with my wife , the view is great , the food is excellent ,they had two shows in the evening , stand up comedy with hadar galron and nancy brandes , nice and funny , beer was served free during show .
the personnel is nice and helpfull , i asked for a wine opener and they gave me a good one for free.
they also have free tours in the golan with a nice guide called shuka ,and he took us to several nice sites in ramat hagolan and the border with syria and jordan.
ramat hagolan is beautifull , israel is a great country.

This resort is a real treat away from the crowds. It is not only the view that makes it special but the whole setting is relaxing and comfortable. The room we stayed in was large and had a balcony overlooking the Galilee Sea. The breakfast was all one could think of. Beside cereals, eggs etc. there was a great selection of local specialities which we found very exciting. As the hotel is quite isolated we dined in. On the first night it was very quiet and we were oferred a selection of local apetisers and a choice of main courses. The next night was all different as the hotel was full and the dinner was a buffet style with lots to choose from.
If you intend to be touring a lot it is a great place to rest and appreciate the beauty of the region.
