We always stay here when we travel, find it makes our trip more enjoyable. On the way home we stayed here also, added the finishing touch to a great trip down south. We have never had a problem with any of their services. Love the new beds, soo very comfortable! We would definitely stay here at any time. Must say the bruschetta tasted some good as all the food did.

Brian & Donna S.

Room Tip: We have stayed in different rooms never a problem.

We had booked a southern vacation. As of late, when we had an early morning flight, we had stayed at another local hotel, but this time we stayed at Quality Inn as the price was about $40 less including the 1 week parking.

Check in went well. The room was fine. The restaurant was fine (it's contracted out so if you put the cost to your room there's a 5% surcharge).

As for the long term parking, we arrived on a Friday in March so it was a busy time.It took a few minutes to get the shuttle driver's attention to park the car and then get back to the hotel; not a big deal. The lot is as good as for the other hotels, if not marginally better as it seemed bigger and flatter. There seemed to be two 9 passenger vans operating; a necessity due to the volume. The shuttle trip to the airport early Saturday morning went off without a hitch.

When we got back next Saturday there were at least 2 other planes arriving at the same time from other southern destinations. Unfortunately, there was only one van operating that day; we were informed that one of the drivers had called in sick. There were plenty of others (20 +) waiting along with us; with a 3 hour drive ahead of us, and being informed that it would be at keast 30 minutes before he was back, we decided to take a cab at an extra cost of $20 to the hotel to retrieve the car. We found this unacceptable, especially at this time of year; a contingency such as a spare driver should be in place.

A couple of mornings later I wrote to the hotel in the comments section of its website asking that someone call to offer an explanation. And sure enough, by 3:30 Dion called. He agreed with us, apologized on behalf of the hotel and said they will do their best it doesn't occur again. We appreciate such customer service.

Despite the hiccup we'll be back. The location is actually better than the others and the price is right, albeit without the extra taxi fare.

Room Tip: If you require assistance walking, the first floor has a split level; you may want a room where you...

I can't think of a better way to start your vacation. We got a good night sleep, in a clean room that comes with a hot breakfast. Parking for our week long vacation was included and they even drive us to the airport and picked us up again.
We always start our Halifax departures this way and the price can't be beat.

Great place to stay when flying out of Halifax. The car was in a secure parking lot. After a comfortable night's sleep and full complimentary breakfast beginning at 5.30 a.m. we were shuttled to our early morning flight by a very amiable driver. On our return we were picked up at the airport and taken to the parking lot to retrieve our car and then spent another comfortable night followed by breakfast and then headed home to Fredericton after a 10 day vacation.

We stayed here with two small kids in order to catch an early flight. Of course the place is dated, but it was clean and the new beds are fantastic! The food in the restaurant was good too. I'd stay again before a flight.

Stayed 2 different nights on our trip to Nova Scotia both coming and going. On our first night the room was located right next to the front desk. The room itself was dirty and shabby. That wasn't the worst of it though.

We arrived late at the airport - almost midnight - and knew that we would want to stay close to the airport. The room right next to the front desk was very noisy with people coming and going all night. Running up and down the hall, banging things around, and yelling at the top of their lungs! If you're unfortunate enough to stay at this hotel, request a room well away from the front desk! We complained to the front desk on check-out. We told her that were very disappointed in the quality of the room and we requested a better room on our return trip. The girl at the desk made note of it, but that was all! The breakfast was ok. Cereal, toast, muffins, bacon, scrambled eggs, fruit, yoghurt, milk, coffee, tea, and juice, and make-your-own waffles.

Although we were in a cleaner and quieter room on our return trip in some ways it was more disturbing! My husband went to use lotion from the complimentary-size bottles in the washroom and discovered that it was only 1/4 full! Someone had used most of the lotion and even though it was almost empty, the staff put it back on the counter for the next patrons to use! My husband promptly threw it in the garbage! When we reported that to the staff nothing was said at all. No apology was made. The girl didn't even blink an eye!

We booked this room on the recommendation of Hotwire.com. I was not impressed at all and if that is the quality of the rooms booked through their Secret Hot Rate Hotels I don't think I'll book with them again!

Clean well appointed room, comfy beds all you need for a 1 night stay. The airport shuttle and free parking are great with helpful drivers. Our 1st choice for an early flight!!
I will say that upon return the shuttle service got backed up (40min)as it seemed 1/2 our flight was parking with the hotel!!
