We just recently returned from a 6 day holiday in Cotswolds visiting from the US. We chose to stay in the Old Post Office B&B in Adlestrop for the entire time and we were very glad we did! It is a small, charming B&B located in a historic building. While it has an old-world charm, it offers all the modern conveniences to make it very comfortable and cozy. Our room was spacious and beautifully decorated. The bed was very comfortable and it was nice to wake up in the morning to the sounds of birds outside in the garden. Nicola, our host, made her gourmet creations (she is a fantastic cook!) for us every morning and the breakfast was delicious! There were fresh berries, juice, home-made yogurts always on the table.
A special word about the owners – Nicola and Chris. They are charming, warm and caring and made us feel very welcome. We enjoyed chatting with them in the evenings and they always had a great recommendation for a place to visit, walk to take, and delicious place to eat. Thank you for everything, Nicola and Chris!
