“WELCOME TO THE CAVE OF PORTO LIGURE”
Reviewed 9 August 2014

The worst hotel ever. The cleaning was bad. When we entered the room the towels where stained, the garbage was full, a cleaning swab was forgotten and no new toilet paper. They have carpets everywhere and they are pretending to vacuum when you ask for it. You get alergic reactions because of the dust and animal hairs. Bad breakfast, no egg, no vegetables. The staff was very rude to us and they didnt care if something was needed. No wifi access in the floors and free parking is (like in whole italy) available everywhere you can find a white line for parking. If you want to park in the garage you have to pay 10€ extra p. day.

A comfortable, design hotel with very modern facilities. Location is perfect for a short stay or if travelling to Corsica. You need a car to reach the nearest beaches. Spotorno beach is 7 km away, but it worth a visit. The hotel itself is classy, with contemporary furnishing. So is the restaurant. Food selection is decent: enjoyed some very good Italian meals. Staff is friendly and helpful. I would chose it again, if in the area.

Location is an issue if you have no car
View is not interesting, as the hotel is right opposite the entrance of the port
Towels had some stains
Hotel is clean, modern, has secure underground parking
Faultless pleasant helpful staff.
Slightly overpriced for what it is

This hotel is right opposite the entrance to the ferry port for Corsica sailings. Hotel is Clean, modern (great shower), has secure underground parking and pleasant helpful staff. Only downside is that the restaurant still wasn't open (as noted in other reviews), however staff provided recommendations for local restaurants, and the walk to the town centre is to far.
Although breakfast is formally served from 7am, it was set up and fully available from 05:30am which was by convenient for our early ferry sailing. We will use again if we do that ferry route again.

This hotel is clean and the staff are very helpful, howevere the restaurant was closed for refurbishment when we were there which was a bit of a problem. The signage on the hotel also was not obvious - so you need a map (Google works). Watch out for the fact that you face the feries not the sea. The car parking is secure and underground so this hotel works well for business trips but not necessarily holidaymakers.

Room Tip: We paid extra for an apartment

This was the most expensive hotel room of our three week tour of France and Italy. We had a warm welcome. We loved the expensive and beautiful decor.
The breakfast in particular was expertly serviced. I can't say that the food was amazing. However the service was faultless.
For some reason I found the bed uncomfortable. It was the pillows and the mattress. A bit of a shame. The shower in particular was amazing.
I can only say that we were very happy.

Very clean, very trendy, rooms are excellent, view to the port is fantastic.
Only downside, no Wifi in the rooms. Internet is free but through cable, so if you want to use ipad, tablet or phone ....you can't.
