We rented a one bedroom suite here for a week and had a great time. Our room overlooked the pond and we didn't find the noise from the pond or nordic track maintenance to be too loud. In fact, we loved the proximity to both (plus the bowling alley and tube park).
The room was bright and roomy, with two TVs a fireplace, washer/dryer combo unit, access to a BBQ and hot tub. The bed was comfy and they smartly use shelves and cubbies to maximize storage space.
What's included in the self-catering apartment:
toilet paper, paper towel, dish washing liquid, dish washer soap, tea, coffee and filters, 2 single use boxes of laundry detergent (maybe more), bathroom toiletries, fresh linens and towels daily (including dish washing towel and washcloth), garbage bags.
From a kitchen perspective, the kitchen is well-equipped with a toaster, blender, pots/pans, serving dishes, cutlery, plates, knives. The one thing missing in our room was a baking sheet. We compromised and used the new drip tray at the bottom of the oven. Bring your own salt and pepper.
My only complaint was that the room was quite warm. We had to keep the balcony door and the bedroom window open to keep the place comfortable (and it heats up quickly again). My advice: Don't use the fireplace for very long unless you want to sweat, and bring light pyjamas. A ceiling fan would go a long way towards making it more comfortable.
The in-room washer/dryer unit is very helpful. It only takes small loads though, and takes a while to run a cycle (like 2+ hours).
The storage units for ski equipment are very handy and large enough for four pair of skis (or more).
Parking is available here. I think it was $10 or $15 a night for heated indoor parking, or free for outdoor parking. It didn't really snow during our stay, so we parked outside.
I'd definitely stay here again. The staff was very friendly and quickly responded to all questions.
