I could go on and on about this site. The service is brilliant, Liz was so helpful and even organised our trip to Fraser Island. I was constantly being a nuisance seeking help and information but whatever my needs they were dealt with swiftly and without fuss. You don't need plates for your food, as you can eat it off the floor, the site is so clean! Everything is immaculate and the swimming pool with spa bath are full of mineral water, sheer luxury. When on holiday you want it all to go smoothly - here it does. If camp sites were in the Olympics, this one would get a gold medal!

Room Tip: I was in a camper van so I cannot advise in this section.

We recently had the pleasure of staying in a cabin here. We were absolutely delighted with the facilities both within the cabin as well as the other extras in the park. The pool was gorgeous, rec room amazing and the free dvds were a hit with the kids.
The difference between this park and some others is the attention to detail. The beds were made beautifully and even the toilet paper had been folded nicely! (Not important really, but make you feel just a bit special). Shows that they care and are prepared to go the extra mile.
Location is pretty good, not far to the beach and shops.
The park was very quiet when we stayed there, but unfortunately our first night was disturbed by some loud campers behind us - but when we alerted the office they dealt with the matter and there were no more issues.
Would stay here again without hesitation.

During our trip we stayed in about 90 different camping parks - this one is one of the best for sure! It already gets the 5 stars for amenities, pool and the huge recreation facility. But this park is outstanding in customer service! We hardly had any front desk staff as friendly AND helpful as in this park. They sure go that famous extra mile for you!

PLUS since we stayed the night before and after our trip to Fraser, we were allowed to leave the campervan in this secure place at no charge for that night! What a treat!

Highly recommend this place!
Also check out the black dog restaurant, 5 walking min towards the beach. Yummy!

We stayed in a deluxe cabin that had been newly refurbished. It was modern and comfortable. Best of all, there is a remote controlled gate to the premises which is locked after 8 pm, and only occupants are given the access code. The accommodation is a 5 minute walk to the beach and there are plenty of eateries along the beach, if you don't wish to cook. There is the added bonus of free 4 hour wifi! The reception lady was friendly and helpful. All in all, a highly recommended place to stay.

Room Tip: Ask for a cabin that is not next to the toilets because the sound of flushing during the night can b...

What a great park this is! From the minute we walked into the amazing reception centre we felt welcome as the two ladies at the desk were extremely friendly and helpful. When we asked about the Fraser Island Tour we were given all the info we wanted and we were booked in for the next day's tour before we knew it - just great! Our site was well grassed and level and as some of the slabbed sites were a little tricky (for some), we were guided on in a very efficient manner by another very friendly staff member. The park is smallish and well maintained, clean and well lit up at night. The ablution block also is very clean (and freshly painted) with soap and hand dryers provided. The showers are roomy and have (clean) curtains, so there's no need for a mop or the like to clean up after you. Just a short walk and you're at the beautiful Hervey Bay beach, which has shaded areas to make it even more pleasant.
The most surprising part of the whole park are the excellent facilities like the camp kitchen (including a pizza oven), the entertainment room which is modern and of the highest quality with large flat screen TV and sofa couches to relax on, a library, pool table and an internet (free WiFi) area - all of resort style quality - and of course the amazing clean pool and heated spa! Top quality for a very reasonable price - what more would you want...!
My wife and I had a most wonderful and quiet three day stay and couldn't recommend this park more highly. Well done to the owners and all the staff concerned - you have done yourselves proud!

Lovely site, just a few minutes walk from the beach. What made our stay was the amazingly helpful attitude of the staff, the high speed, free wifi, and the hot tub, also free! A further nice touch was the DVD library, yes, free. The site has the best camp kitchen we've ever seen, it even had a gas pizza oven, and the amenities block looked to be brand new. When you consider the price, which we thought was very reasonable to begin with, all the extras add up to quite stunning value for money.
