Small hotel about 10 minutes walk from the train station. First appearances do not inspire as the hotel is in need of a refurb. The rooms are very small and the beds are designed for minus 5' 6" people as being over 6' my legs over hung the bottom of the wooden bed, not comfortable. No phone in the room or usual writing pad and pen. A chair but nowhere to use it and a small TV with over a hundred channels, but I could only find one in English. The WiFi works on and off in the room I was in. The shower was small a couple of sachets of shower gel and soap the towels were very thin and well worn. But having said all that the room was clean and all the staff extremely helpful and polite. Breakfast was traditional continental style and must admit with served with a boiled egg was very nice.
The restaurant which is part of the hotel is Greek themed and seemed to be very popular as it was almost full on the wet Tuesday evening I dinned in there. The food was acceptable and the red wine i had was an unusual Greek red.
I would say OK for the odd night or business, not one for a special occasion.
Look at the very strange wall painting in the corner of the restaurant!More
