“Same group as Temple and just as good”

Great food, reasonably interesting menu. Really flavoursome main dishes, great onoin bhaji crisp outside and chewy in the middle, and free poppadoms a bonus.

I am a regular customer at Coriander for both eat in & Take away & I would not consider anywhere else. The staff are extremely friendly from the moment you walk in, the food is delicious & the overall service is out of this world.

“Mothers Day meal with family”
Reviewed 2 April 2014

We have been to this restaurant several times for meals, each time it has been very good. The Sunday buffet is excellent value, poppadoms to start, then a starter of chicken tikka salad and onion bhaji, followed by a very good selection of rice, breads, curries and vegetable curry.Eat as much as you like, all the food is freshly cooked. The staff are very friendly and welcoming.Would recommend for family or couples.

“Average at best!”
Reviewed 26 January 2014

Visted The Corriander today for the first time. The interior is very pleasent and modern, although their sitting is fixed to the floor so some you may find themselves either too close or too far from the table depending on their size. We had the buffet, and although you can never expect outstanding food when you can eat as much as you like, this was really nothing special. Firstly you get popadoms and dips and then for starters a mixture of onion bhaji, chicken tikka pieces and salad, all of which was quite nice. They then brought up a plate of plain rice and said we could help ourselves at the buffet. The buffet was very limited. There was a chicken curry, a beef curry and and chicken masala. Also there was a bowl of bombay potatoes. All the meat pieces were very small and absolutely swimming in sauces (masala especially). The main problem though was that the food itself was not very warm. The big silver servers that the food sits in are warmed by heated water underneath. To be honest l think it had all been sitting there too long and needed freshning up. This was only 2.30pm and the food really should have been at its best. Service was pretty good drinkwise. Prompt and polite.

Not a place l would rush back too, but also not one that l'd avoid!
