my 2 night stay here recently was very pleasant. the room was spacious and very clean. I had a single room en suite, the bathroom was really big. the staff were always polite and helpful. it is quite a long walk into the centre but that would not deter me from staying here again.

What good is there to say about this hotel, apart from I would never stay in it again. The rooms are basic, we asked for a twin, but got a sort of twin, in that it was a large frame with 2 mattresses, and was quite low, so if you have trouble standing up from a near crouching position, you're in trouble, i.e it's not disabled friendly. The fan for the en suite toilet, shower etc was extremely noisy, every time we switched it on, we said standby for take off! It is very hot and humid at this time of year and the availability of a fan would have been useful to at least get some air movement. We did ask management about this, but because this weather is short lived it is seen as not necessary, nice to see the management are thinking about the comfort of their guests! The bar was okay, and most of the staff were friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast was nothing to write home about, and looked nothing like the one shown in the small flyer the hotel has in the reception. It has good wireless(passcode provided by the hotel), and with a left turn out of the hotel, you're in the town, about 20 minute walk.
The worst thing, was our room being situated next to an effluent tank, which meant that if we opened the window to get some air in, this just invited flies and mosquitoes in, having numerous bites as evidence, not a good room, overall I wouldn't recommend this hotel, there must be better in Celle.

Room Tip: Don't get room 29, it's next to the effluent tank, disgusting

Clean and comfortable hotel in a quiet area. Rooms nicely furnished, but rather small.
Good restaurant, good breakfast.
15 - 20 minutes walk to the very picturesque old town.
Reasonably priced.
Very friendly service. Good parking facilities.

The hotel is nice but a little far away from everything. The rooms are big and clean, as well as the bathrooms. Service is good and always very polite. Good quality of sleep. Good breakfast. Nothing to complain about.

I selected this hotel during a peak time in Hannover area-two exhibitions and 2 conferences at the same time- since it still offered a reasonable priced room. At our arrival the reception was clearly overloaded with 5 other guests arriving at the same time arguing that they ordered non-smoking but got smoking rooms and things went noisy since the requests could not be met. After 30 minutes we got the room keys eventually. The room I had was small but ok. Breakfast was good. Given the price we paid for this peak season the value was very good, although I would not stay at this hotel again.

Room Tip: Make sure you confirm that a non-smoking room has been reserved before arrival.

I recently stayed for 3 nights and found the staff were very friendly and helpful.
The room was very large and had a good size bathroom, although it didn't have a bath. To get to the room from receiption required going up one flight of stairs, along a winding corridor, up a second flight of stairs. It has time lag light switches which were not always lit up, so fumbling in the dark. No hardship unless you have walking issues. The room did have a couple of problems. The bed slats were very poor and an attempt to strengthen them had failed. This caused the mattress to sink. As the bed was a double size with two seperate slat sides, I moved to the other side and was fine. The fan in the bathroom was very noisy. I ended up using the bathroom cabinet light to avoid it's rattle. This was room 74. My friend stayed in 71, which was a much better layout and also had a bath.

Breakfast was a buffet style. Hot food was pieces of sausage & scrambled egg. Cold was the usual choice of meat & cheese, with a selection of cereals and different breads. Plenty of tea and coffee, Overall ok.

The hotel is a 15-20 minute walk to the City. Come out of the hotel turn left and walk straight down the road. A pleasant walk, although you do have to go through a subway under the train line.

The hotel is pleasant enough and not bad value but I mark it down for the poor bed and fan.

Room Tip: Room 74 requires the bed fixing and the fan is very noisy in the bathroom and no bath. Room 71 much...

Made the reservation one day ahead of arriving for a "non smoking room". At arrival we get a smoking room. After arguing with the receptionist and threating to leave the hotel all of a sudden there is a non smoking room available...
The overall standard of the hotel is mediocre. At least 20 min walk to reach the city centre.
