Three of us stayed for 2 nights at this hotel (well more like a B&B) on a short stay in Bergen. We arrived in the middle of a Wednesday afternoon and the place was closed (although we knew check-in could only be done after 5 o'clock) but it was sunny and hot and we had to carry our hand luggage round Bergen to find a place to have a snack and drink. Eventually we did check in and were taken to our rooms which were quite spacious and clean and had everything we needed for a 2 night stay. It seems that the restaurant is closed on Wednesdays so maybe this is why even when we came back in the evening at about 10 o'clock after having a meal it was still like a ghost town. We had a key to let ourselves into the accommodation block and our rooms but did wonder what would happen if there was an emergency as there was not a sign of anyone which we found most strange.
The breakfasts were continental with quite a good selection of different things.
Things were a bit more lively on the Thursday though and although we didn't eat in the restaurant there were a lot of Germans eating.
The hotel was fine for the short duration we stayed.
