We stayed for 2 nights. Christian was an excellent host! He went out of his way to make our stay perfect. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Christian even made us boiled eggs on request! Our room was spacious and had a lovely balcony. The bathroom could have been slightly bigger but it was sufficient and very clean. The only downside was that the wifi was only in the lounge room/breakfast room. We would definitely stay here again. The location was perfect for exploring the area.

We stayed here for one night, everything was good. Is not luxurious, but the owner was very nice and very friendly and we felt like home. Room was clean and breakfest also good. I can recommend it for people, who like mountains and small homely pensions.

Stayed 2 nights in June 2014 as part of a wider 51 day trip through parts of Europe. Paid €67 pn for each double room (rooms # 5 & 10). Large double beds (large twins pushed together). Rate included a lovely buffet style breakfast (ask and Christian will cook you fresh eggs).

Rooms each had a balcony that looked out over scenery surrounding B&B.

We considered it excellent value for price paid. Christian, the owner, is the 'star' of this place - he speaks great English and is one of the nicest, most hospitable owners we met on this trip. He has a very dry, wicked sense of humour and a very genuine warmth when he talks with you. One of our 'top 5' host/hostesses of this 23 accoms trip!

Christian has a 'drinks fridge' near the common area (large TV, tables, chairs, games, etc for common use - nice to meet others also) where you can grab a drink and just jot it on a paper system he has going. Prices same as supermarket. Very handy.

Room both very clean and serviced daily. Both rooms were large and furnished with lovely wooden furniture, good heaters (didn't need when we were there), Desk & Chair, Mirrors & Wardrobe. There is NO air con (which hubby and I were okay with but our friends needed to open the window overnight to let cooler air in). There is no TV, fridge or tea/coffee making in the room however these are all provided for in the lovely common room area.

The bathrooms were both private. Soap only provided. No hairdryer (ask Christian for one). Both had hot water shower and good water pressure. Showers were on own bases with glass doors. Room #5 ensuite was more modern and much larger with toilet, shower and basin. Room #10 ensuite was just toilet and shower with a large basin and mirror outside of the ensuite directly in the bedroom. This did not bother us at all; in fact was handy for getting ready whilst another was in the shower without the mirror fogging up!

Parking is free at dedicated parking onsite. Having your own transport is a big advantage here however you can walk to two restaurants down around the bend easily enough or walk downhill into town about 15 to 20 mins (guessing here as we had a car).

WiFi: free and speed good but only available in common areas downstairs (breakfast, TV rooms, etc) - this is not available in the rooms themselves.

Overall, we would give this 4/5 stars. If the location were in town (or right on edge) we would give it 5/5 stars. We would stay again and wouldn’t bother looking elsewhere unless we didn't have our own transport (then it would be a tough decision to stay right in town instead).

Stayed at the Gregory for 2 nights. The bedroom was more than adequate with a balcony to enjoy the fantastic views. The buffet breakfast was spot on, with plenty to choose from. The host was very friendly and so helpful, chatting to all guests and making their stay relaxed and enjoyable. For the price we paid this was a surprise bargain.
Only down side is the distance from Berchtesgaden. But that's what taxi's are for.

I had found this place on Travel Advisor with top reviews. So I called over and Christian the owner answered. He spoke perfect english and invited me, like a family friend, to stay at his home for the night. He was totally helpful and offered a few choices for us during our stay. He accomidated me due to a recent spinal surgery so I would not need to walk his stairs. Thanks Christian!!. The family common room very large, any beverage anytime on a honor system, and a super selection all fresh stuff for breakfast. WIFI only in the commons area, but he is considering upgrading to make it throughout. Easy to find, resturants close, supermarket down the street, fresh air in the ALPS, minutes to the KonigSee. Priced perfect, a real treasure of a place to stay, 5 STAR B&B.

Room Tip: Just call him first and tell Christian your special needs and he will help out as best he can. Reme...

Host Christian is very friendly, helpful, energetic, made us feel welcome. Gave us personalized attention. He even did our laundry. Gave us a tour of the facility. Family like atmosphere. Excellent breakfast. Close to Salzburg and lake Konigssee. Free Wi Fi (only in main floor)
Rooms were small, on third floor (Although Christian helped us to carry our bags). Bathrooms were small (we booked 2 rooms) We did not get clean towels for our second day and the old towels were wet. Some of the rooms have balconies, but we did not get any.
