A smooth stucco façade, 12 windows with alternating oval frames. The west facade made from hewn stone is slightly richer executed but has only 2 Windows. On the façade St. Benedict is flanked by columns and a portal. In contrast of its no frill exterior is its Baroque "theatrum sacrum" interior decorated “galore” by brothers Cosmas Damian and Egid Quirin Asam. The narthex has an elliptical floor plan and is divided by ionic pilasters, barrel-vaulted organ gallery. The style of the church is between Baroque and Rococo, the narthex is rococo, but generally the church is a work of Bavarian high baroque. Construction firm Michael Wolf from Stadtamhof, architect Cosmas Damian Asam, painter and architect of the monastery: member of the franciscan order brethren Philipp Plank, stucco Egid Quirin Asam, marble Franz Peter Giorgioli, Sebastian Rottfelder and Jacob Kürschner, portal Vitus Filler, Benedict sculpture at the facade, as well as Church chairs und confessional in the nartex: Franz Anton Neu from Prüfening, organ casing: Caspar Mayr from Stadtamhof, the organ itself was made by Konrad Brandenstein from Stadtamhof.
