I stayed here for only one night with short notice reservation and late checkin. None of this was a problem, which I appreciate.
Clearly this hotel has seen its glamorous times, which must have been in the 40s or 50s. It must have been in the league of the grand hotels judging by its size. But the hotel seems maintained, is clean and well operated.
The rooms were clean, the interior old fashioned but fully functional and not used not threadbare. The bathroom was brand new and well equipped - also large. Staff was friendly, attentive and helpful. Not that it's the four seasons, but totally fair.
The location is a little out of the way from downtown, but nicely located at a park.
Because of the train tracks behind and the main road in front if the hotel he noise level is rather on the upper end. However if you shut the windows it's totally quiet. I assume that sleeping with windows open is probably impossible.
The TV should be updated, it's 10 inch or whatever. A flat screen TV nowadays costs what? 100$ with 20 inch?
Also I have no understanding for a 5€ Internet usage fee / day. I get a month of 4G/LTE German wide Internet flat rate for that money.
Outside if that I would stay here again.
