This charming hotel/restaurant sits in the heart of Soest, overlooking the market square. The food ranges from rustic German fare, to fish and various meat dishes. Though I can't comment on their wine, as I don't drink, the wine menu was quite extensive and probably has something on offer for many palates. The interior decor is quite old fashioned, but cozy, especially if you want somewhere quiet with a relaxed ambiance. The staff was polite, if not overly friendly, and the experience as a whole was certainly worth a positive review.
