We were visiting the area with some German friends. After exploring the Old Town and also the Franciscan Cloister Gardens we decided that we needed a coffee and a light early lunch. It was a beautiful Sunday morning so we sat outside and enjoyed the sunshine.
We were driving back to Munich for our flight home so ordered some light meals to keep us going on the drive. I had the Gebratene Maultaschen - our friend said that this meal had been invented by the monks to hide the food from God on Sunday - anyway it was delicious. My wife had Paulschens Teller which was served with mushrooms. It was so good that I had to help her eat it!
Great location, good service, excellent food and all at a reasonable price.
