This is the 'New Castle' built in the 1700s (have a look at the 'Old Castle, and you'll understand why they moved out!). Its a beautiful building, light and airy, and well kept. Even the loos are decent!
Lots of displays, and history regarding the Prince Bishops of Germany, and their powers. Most displays have an English translation on the information panel, and the rooms have laminated boards, with information, all in English as well as German.
The terrace restaurant is good, and not overly expensive, with stunning views over the lake.
Entrance fee might be high, I can't comment, as we had purchased a 7 day 'Go Anywhere' ticket for the Lake Steamers, which also gives free entry to a lot of the local attractions.
