Kleine Gastehaus Knoth has an air of impersonallity as there is no personnel on site. Arrangements were made in advance so a key was waiting in a lock box at the front door. My wife and I had a room in the back of the residence on the ground level with a walk out to the back yard with a semi private patio. We really enjoyed this. Only the back two suites appear to have this option, we got lucky. My mother in law stayed on the second floor on the front of the house. The train tracks pass in front of the house accross the street. In the back we could not really hear the trains but in the front they can be heard. With the blinds closed it certainly helped. Train traffic decreases at night. The street is not a main road so road noise is almost non existent. The rooms were very clean, beds were comfortable. We did not have a queen bed but two twins. It was great to stretch out, hope my wife agrees. The fridge was well stocked with yogurt, slice meat, cheese, etc. but by the third night this decreased some which is understandable as this was our last night. There was still sufficient stock for us to have our continental breakfast. I would return requesting the same room.
