The Jesuiter Hof is an attractive mediaeval building dating back to 1695. Just a few yards from the river frontage, a restful meal may be had outside, shielded from the heat and sun by an natural umbrella of cooling vines; on the rare occasion when the weather is inclement, meals are taken in one of the fine dining areas inside. The Jesuiter Hof also caters for B&B guests.
The business is family run by the Piepers who help in the kitchen and serve the meals. The menu is quite extensive serving fresh food cooked to order. Daily specials are chalked up on large boards and many of the wines served come from their own vineyards locally. The wine which is low in acidity and very drinkable, may also be purchased and taken away.
This restaurant is highly recommended. Come and enjoy a wholesome meal served in pleasant and restful surroundings. The Piepers are very friendly people who welcome you to their home and take great care to ensure that you are totally satisfied. Not cheap, but with a first class chef, you get what you pay for, which is a delicious meal served in a very agreeable location.
