Went in August with a Shearings group. Hotel comfortable, well positioned, food good and plentiful. Sadly, at end of week felt like a 'second class citizen'. Final evening meal was laid out in a function room which was overcrowded, and so poorly laid out that it was all but impossible to get to the buffet meal. Was it a coincidence that a German coach party arrived that day and used the well appointed restaurant? At breakfast the following morning prior to an 0800 hours start, there was one waiter who, in a rather flustered fashion tried to deal with 40 plus people. I got the impression that this tardy treatment would only be given to a 'package holiday party'. If they do not want to provide the service, I suggest that they do not accept 'package' contracts. Such a shame after a great start.
