Our hotel recommended this (and the Valentin, next door) to us. We would not have found them on our own, as they are a liitle away from the lake front and main tourist areas, but we tried them both, on successuive evenings. Both were well worth the short walk.
Wissingers serves traditional South German food. In good weather, one eats outside, in a charming beer garden. It has local wines and local beers, as well as the usual internatonal choices. The staff are friendly and helpful. It is a great place to eat on a warm summer's evening in Lindau.
