Many thanks for taking the time to leave a review as Customer Service is very important to us. We have noted your comments and taken them on board. I would just mention that we use plastic cups in our bathrooms for the safety of our guests.
Stayed here in April for a wedding. Hotel is beautiful and gardens well maintained.
Our room 15 was well decorated with a lovely view, but we were disappointed with plastic cups in bathroom and the round toilet seat was the wrong shape for the square toilet.
On showering the next day we only had one set of towels despite booking as a couple. So more towels had to be brought up.
In comparison we stayed in a Premier Inn the next night for £25 and had proper glasses in the bathroom and the correct amount of towels.
Breakfast on the first morning was nice with pots of teas and coffees being served to us. However the next morning we had to make our own at the breakfast station with no tea pots and lukewarm water.

Went to a Black Tie dinner here and stayed overnight. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. Stylishly decorated, very clean and all appeared pretty recently decorated. Plenty of power points and lights. Tea and coffee making facilities and nice biscuits. Quality TV. Bed comfortable and extra pillows available in room. Air con/ temp control. No view but that didn't matter and even though close to event hall it was quiet when we went to bed early and event continuing. Bathroom large, high sided bath so issue for anyone with even slight mobility issues. No grab rail or non slip surface in bath - which would be much appreciated even in ones 50s! Bath towels strangely small given such plush décor! Suggest they replace the mouldy mastic as this small point detracted from the otherwise wonderfully pristine room.
Breakfast tasty and plentiful if in slightly brightly decorated surroundings. Public rooms and spaces all excellent. Food at event dinner was good including dishes that would normally be less tasty in a mass cater affair - they did very well and it was organised like clockwork. Bar staff helpful - though house wine by the glass pretty appalling!
Lifts near reception. Parking plentiful, easy to reach from M25 too. Grounds and garden very well kept.
Would certainly stay again - good value for money in very pleasant surroundings - a great experience all in all.
Many thanks for taking the time to leave a review and we are very pleased that you enjoyed your recent stay. We hope to see you again soon.
We got married on 26th April 2014 in Orsett Hall. To say that the day went perfectly was an understatement. The venue, the staff and all round day were perfect. Leo who coordinated our day was exceptional, from start to finish he could not do more for us. Jessica who was our wedding planner throughout was also wonderful and could not do enough to help us.
The room we had, William & Mary suite was without doubt the must luxurious room we have ever stayed in.
Thank you again Orsett Hall for making our day so special, we are eternally grateful.

We stayed as part of a party and our first impressions were very good. The grounds are beautiful, we can see why the hotel is so popular for weddings, and our room was large and very attractive so a good start. We were disappointed that the bathroom had plastic mugs instead of glasses, the glasses in the bar are just washed and used again so why not in the bedrooms. The bath was lovely and big but quite slippery so we could have done with a non slip mat and the bath towels were so small I thought they were hand towels. The food at our function was very good indeed as was the entertainment but we did have a problem with our wine order. Breakfast was again very good but the service really slow, we waited at least 25 minutes before our food arrived.
Overall a good hotel, just needs a few minor adjustments to make it great.

Stayed on the 3rd room 33 has a shower that if you are over 5ft tall you will have problems using due to sloping ceiling/wall we had two single beds zipped together very uncomfortable for a man and wife so a bad nights sleep was had when I approached the reception I was told points noted thankyou it was out of her mouth before I had finished speaking so a brush off I think a shame as 175.00 pound a night room you would expect more we have stayed a lot in the hiltons and Marriotts we would not stay here again as the quality of rooms do not reflect the price
