If you want to pay an exorbitant amount for very poor service, staff that treat you like garbage and owners who couldn't care less about anything other than taking your money, this is your place!!
There were several things very wrong with this place that has already been mentioned in other reviews. But the worst for me was the treatment by the hotel staff and the non-responsive owners. Not only didn't they give you sufficient towels (a very basic thing in any 1 star hotel), they had the gall to accuse me of stealing towels...when I was paying $650 chf per night. At that rate, I don't need to steal their towels!!
Anytime I asked for help or information, one or more of the condescending imbeciles at the desk would patronize me because I didn't speak their language (whichever language that was). They wouldn't even try to communicate with me even tho I tried speaking French to them. Believe me, if any decent hotel nearby was not sold out, I would have left this one quickly (but I guess they would have charged me for the entire stay anyway per their rules)!
In an email they sent to me beforehand, they mentioned that they had a complimentary car/shuttle to the casino 5 minutes away. But when I called to confirm that, I was tersely reminded that it would cost 20chf each way!!
The best one yet was when an unannounced...If you want to pay an exorbitant amount for very poor service, staff that treat you like garbage and owners who couldn't care less about anything other than taking your money, this is your place!!

The best one yet was when an unannounced man tried to enter my room in order to show it to a family (I guess to try to sell it to them). When I called him on it, he gave me an obligatory ('I'm sorry") but really could not have cared less about entering my room with other people while my personal possessions were lying around. I realize maids can gain entrance any time, but I didn't even know if this guy was ligitimate.
Be very careful in this hotel especially if you're American. The staff, which seeemd French, Italian, Spanish or Croatian, seemed to treat other guests (Europeans) a whole lot better. They didn't mind taking American money, but did mind helping me.
And, when I wrote to the owner to explain the poor treatment, he merely replied in an arrogant manner and offered me a credit ..."on my next stay at the hotel"!!! Even if hell froze over, and they gave me everything for free, I wouldn't go back there.
If you're a golfer, beware of their mis-leading advertising. I thought from their site that they were directly connected to the Ballesteros course; they are not. And if you rent clubs as I did, after paying almost 300chf for green fees, clubs, and...More
