I've been in Grand Hotel du Golf at the beginning of August with my family. We were very well welcomed by the staff of the hotel (with russian worker) and GM personally. At the arrival we got an upgrading and received rooms with a splendid view on the golf fields. It was very beautiful in the morning to look at the borderless landscape and watch at the golf players. The interior of the rooms was in a very luxurious style, everything brand new and clean. The maids where very professional, friendly and polite, so they found a solution on each our small request. Even room service was well organised through small details such as nice set up and some complimentary things! Breakfast time was always at a really high level with a professional service and a good choice of food. Each day our family visited swimming pool and spa procedures. They use Valmont cosmetic, what is very pleasant.
In total I want to say that Crans- Montana is a unique place for visit not only during winter, but also in summer.. when its more quite and relaxed atmosphere.
Thanks to the hotel for a warm welcome and comfortable stay. We will return!!

This hotel is one of the worse 5* we have been. The room has to be revovated (Very bad bed, old fashion furniture, old in the shower, shower very very small, very small TV).
The breakfast is really not at the level of a 5* (and not even of a 4*, better in IBIS) and there is no complementary water bottle available in the room (only a small swiss chocolate that you can buy in the supermarket was provided). No deck chair on the balcony, no chair, no table.
It is VERY expensive (400CHF special rate for a double room).
The management staff is not friendly (no smile when paying the bill).
The only positive point is the good italian restaurant with special menu for hotel guests.
For sure we will not go back to this hotel and we do not recommend it neither for leisure nor for business.

We went for a wedding so I cannot speak for the hotel rates as we probably received a discount. My wife and I slept in separated twin beds, in a room that was large and clean but needed modernizing. Bathroom was large, but not particularly private (we could hear our neighbors quite clearly speaking through the walls). It seemed like there was a nice side to the hotel - as the corridor to the right of the elevator had a glass door and looked very nice) and an unmodernized side (and we stayed in the latter).

Views were nice, setting is nice, and the service seemed good. As we were part of a wedding party we had dinner and breakfast in the hotel, but as part of a group. Didn't play Golf but there is a tee right in front of where you have breakfast...

After driving a complete day from Rome we decided to stay at Crans Montana. After driving around a while we came to the Grand Hotel du Golf. This hotel claims to be a 5 star facility but having a lot of experience with 5 star facilities I can tell you this is not! It is a joke! We stayed for 1 night in the old part. Beds are old and terrible, bathroom / shower didn't work properly, room smelled like the 70's, no water in the morning and after complaining it came out...brown. Had to talk for 10 minutes to get a small discount for all the trouble. Parking place was full of holes. This is really a hotel you don't want to stay and it is a shame they even charge people for the worst service ever.
OK, it is on a golf course and breakfast is nice but be smart and stay elsewhere. Like all other 5 star facilities in Crans Montana (that are still open....) this one had its best time in the 70's and 80's. The Swiss didn't bother to renew. Bad mistake. I can't even believe people wanting to work here.

Stayed at the Grand Hotel Du Golf - end of May, beginning of April. Had a splendid time. The hotel has everything you need - a royal welcome, cosy rooms, great service, a gym and a swimming pool not only kids can enjoy + a spa-center. Loved the different restaurants - I'm really into Lebanese cuisine and was suprised to find some of my favorite dishes in the menu (besides the classical cuisine).
The views are fantastic (Alps + Golf course), the pine-forest nearby is simply beautiful!

My girlfirend and I would like to thank all of the staff-members for their hospitality and warm smiles.

Hope we get a chance to visit you again!
